During this time only "one elevator" will be operational until the modernization is complete.\*\*\*\*\* \*\*\*\*\*The current work hours will be 4 days a week 10 hours a day. Noise will be starting at 7am CT.\*\*\*\*\* Thank you for visiting our Seawind 408 condo in beautiful Gulf Shores. This unit is located on the 4th floor and features beautiful décor and furnishings. We live in Gulf Shores and take pride in caring for our units to ensure our guests have a great experience. We inspect our units frequently and enjoy adding the little touches that make the condo warm and inviting. You can view all our units on our FB page "Gulf Shores Vacation." An oversized beach front private balcony with a panoramic view of emerald green water and white sandy beaches can be accessed from both the living room and master bedroom. You are just steps away from white sandy beaches and warm gulf waters. The Gulf Front balcony is large and includes a table seating for four, two chairs with a small table and a lounge chair. You can watch the sunrise over the gulf waters while you enjoy your morning coffee, watch the dolphins and enjoy glorious sunsets at the end of the day with a spectacular view. The living room is equipped with a queen-size sleeper sofa, recliner and chair. The sleeper sofa has a memory foam mattress making it much more comfortable than the old traditional and uncomfortable spring sofa mattresses that come with most. The living room is also equipped with a large flat screen smart TV, coffee table, two end tables and lamps. The Kitchen includes granite countertops and all stainless appliances including a refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, garbage disposal, electric range and microwave. The kitchen is stocked with the essentials you need from pots and pans, dishes, glasses, silverware, blender, crockpot, ect. There is a large pantry and lots of cabinets. The laundry room includes full-size washer and dryer plus an ironing board and iron. The master bedroom includes a king-size bed, large dresser, two night stands with lamps, flat screen smart TV, walk-in closet and private full size bathroom which includes a walk shower. The sliding glass door opens to the balcony and also features black out drapes. The second bedroom includes a king-size bed, dresser, night stand with lamp and a flat screen smart tv and access to the guest full size bathroom. The third room includes a twin bunks, dresser, night stand with lamp and flat screen smart tv. Seawind offers a heated indoor/outdoor pool, splash pad with fountains for kids, hot tubs, sauna, very nice exercise room overlooking the beach (2) elevators and wireless internet. There are grilling stations located at he building. There is a 2 car max If you would like information on shopping, dining and attractions please feel free to contact us. We have enjoyed many wonderful years in Gulf Shores and would like to help you do the same. We also provide maintenance 24/7 during your stay ensuring that anything that should occur during your stay will be promptly taken care of. Please note Lighthouse is a smoke free building. You will be waiting constantly for an elevator. The condo itself was filthy, hair in sinks so they don’t drain, hair in bathtubs, floor was dirty. The towels smelled like fish and there were very few towels so we were constantly to wash to have enough. The unit says it sleeps 8 but there were not towels or extra bedding to accommodate 8 guests. The couch makes into a bed but there were no extra sheets or pillow cases. The host was great, he communicated well and was easy to work with. The property is just as advertised: Clean, comfortable, beautiful views, and right next to the beach. We loved our stay there. If you are expecting to have a lot of extras on hand to make your stay easier, you will need to go to the local stores. The beach towels and beach chairs were a nice amenity. Two pods for dishwasher and laundry, we bought extras of each. Toilet paper was rough, we bought different. One roll of paper towels, we bought extra. Bring a couple of garbage bags if you plan on staying more than 4 days. We had 2 and went through both and wound up using plastic sacks. The view was amazing. We saw dolphins from the living room and the walk to the beach was perfect. People in the area were friendly. The cleanliness of the place was lacking. Black mold was growing around bathroom vent. The recliner had old fruity pebbles scattered underneath it. The water filter in the fridge kept water from flowing very well, we checked it and it was installed in 2019\. Bed skirt in master room looked quite dirty as well. Parking was always easy here. Again, it was nice to sit on the balcony and enjoy the view and sounds of the ocean. We left a beach umbrella and some k-pods for the next group. We hope they get to enjoy it. Lastly, if you have OCD, don’t put the puzzle together as one piece is missing. Price and location was right, however, we will probably try somewhere else in the same area next time. ##### Groves F. We arrived early with nowhere to go. Our host allowed us to check-in early. The condo was clean and very welcoming. It was much more than we expected. Even gave starter kit of toilet paper, soap, Toothpaste, laundrey detergent etc. The details were in the small conveniences. Large bedrooms and bathrooms, plenty of room. Comfortable beds. Amazing balcony, very large with a table for 4 and a lounge chair, awesome beach view. Perfect height for hearing and seeing the waves on the 4th floor. Walk in closet in the master with lots of hangers, easy to unpack for the week. The owner had beach chairs, which was a savings so we didn't have to rent beach service. Fantastic location with sea and suds on the beach for lunch and walking distance to the Hangout and we loved the Picnic Beach restaurant, also walkable. There is a small convenience store with high priced groceries across the street. Which was handy for small items. But several other reasonable grocery stores a few miles away. The only negative was the pool was smaller than it appeared in photos. The hot tub was adequate. But we were there for the beach and it was fantastic. No issues with elevators such as really long waits or slow moving and it was a busy time. Nice, safe, clean complex as well. Highly recommend this very clean, well appointed, comfortable condo!! Great responses from owners also, answered all questions and followed up promptly!! Thanks for a great vacation! We can't wait to return! ##### Heather C. Our condo was beautiful and very clean. It had everything we needed for the week: full kitchen, laundry room, coffee pot, large kitchen table and the list goes on. We loved the balcony and very quick walk down to the beach. We were able to walk to our favorite restaurants within 10 minutes without having to deal with parking. The only “negative” thing we noticed were the elevators. They are very slow, but we heard they’re adding more so that is good!
