Professionally managed by Sunset Properties You must be 25 years old to rent this house! Tortuga Bay, is located at 685 Cherokee Road, in Fort Morgan, Alabama. It is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath raised home which sleeps 6 people comfortably. \- Master bedroom has queen bed, guest room has 2 twin size beds and there is a pull-out full size bed in living room \- Wireless internet and cable TV available \- Washer/dryer for use as needed \- Central air and Ceiling fans throughout home \- Full kitchen with dishwasher and over sized island \- Private outdoor shower \- Water front deck for relaxing and watching sunsets- U shaped dock with boat slip for fishing \-Pole Mounted Charcoal Grill available \- Dolphins can usually be spotted in the bay behind house in the early afternoon (1200 to 1600), please do not feed the birds (seagulls, pelicans and cranes). Only 4 blocks South to the beautiful beaches with public access! Nearby Airports include: Pensacola, FL (90 mins), Mobile, AL (90 mins) and Gulfport- Biloxi, MS (2 hours). \- Sassy Bass market and restaurant is located approximately 3 miles up main road going East (passed it coming in) and Tacky Jacks Restaurant and Bar is located just under 2 miles down main road going West in the marina. \- Fort Morgan is just under 3 miles West of house and is a historic Civil War site that you may want to tour \- Ferry crossing located at Fort Morgan to visit Dauphin Island either by car of on foot. This home is pet friendly, small dogs only. Limit two dogs. No other pets allowed. The following breeds are prohibited by the association by-laws: Doberman, Rottweiler, Chow, or Pit Bull. To book a pet friendly property, you MUST call the office Monday-Friday 9-5 at YOU CANNOT BOOK A PET FRIENDLY PROPERTY ONLINE. Rules for renting with a dog: \-35 lbs or less. \-Your dog must be older than 9-months. \-Your dog must always remain on a leash when outside of the home. \-You must clean up after your dog. \-No excessive barking. \-Paid pet fee of $120, PER PET. (It will be itemized on your receipt.) Failure to follow these rules WILL result in immediate eviction of you or your dog, with no returned money. It was a nice change from the sandy beaches during the day. Close to the beach and two main restaurants with little traffic at this end. Not to mention the house was perfect for us with two teens boys. We were overlooking the bay with a close trip to the beach. You could walk or drive and be there quickly. Reviewer Comments: Oh how we needed this time away! This was our third time staying at Tortuga Bay and it did not disappoint! The house is in a great location for fishing and the neighborhood is quiet with welcoming neighbors. The house is clean - we love the update to the bathroom, great shower space. It is always a bonus to take our two small dogs- love chasing lizards and sitting on the deck watching the birds. We will definitely be back in the Spring! ##### Donna T. We had a nice relaxing time watching the birds and dolphins on the water. With a nice quiet neighborhood that was a perfect place to walk our small dog, we were able to enjoy each other’s company. Due to weather we were not able to enjoy the pier but it looked great. Boat slip does look a little narrow for bigger boats but a great addition if you want to bring your boat. Reviewer Comments: We had such a wonderful time at Tortuga Bay & wished we had another day or two. First was the fishing which was so fun. The kids could throw a cast in, count to five & had a fish. They enjoyed the variety of types of fish. Second, we saw dolphins at the end of our inlet. Third, the beach was perfect. We chose to drive over with our gear & it was only 2 minutes away. Fourth, it was quiet & remote from the busyness. Fifth, the house was cute, clean & perfect for our family of four. It had everything we needed.
