If you like beach life, you will love Seashell Sanctuary. This property has it all. You name it, from a gorgeous, wide, white sand beach and beautiful water of the gulf to pools galore! It has basketball, tennis, horseshoes and shuffleboard. Hot tubs and a workout room and did I mention the beach? From the moment that you turn onto the property and drive down the beautifully landscaped, winding entry road, you will know that you have found something special. Families that discover the Plantation return year after year. It is far enough from the congested condo section, of Gulf Shores, to benefit from much less crowded beaches, yet a nice beautiful drive into town will land you at some of the best restaurants, night life, and family entertainment around including water parks, go carts and miniature golf. Seashell Sanctuary features three bedrooms and three baths on each side of the house. There are granite counter tops in the kitchen, and baths along with premium mirrors which have added a touch of class to the beach. The furniture is cleaned on a regular basis and replaced when it begins to show wear. Bring the whole family and share the expense. Seashell Sanctuary will sleep 18 people if both sides are rented. The "Abalone" side (VRBO.com/608340) will sleep 8 and the "Blue Whelk" side (VRBO.com/608341) will sleep 10. Black-out curtains gives privacy and comfort to the guest using the high quality, double pump, inflatable mattresses in the living room. The three baths really come in handy for this as well. One of the baths is located on the main level along with the living room, kitchen, and one of the king bedrooms. The other two baths are located upstairs along with the other two bedrooms. The master has an ensuite bath. Seashell Sanctuary is in a constant state of renovation and we are continuously making improvements. Some of the latest improvements are: Wood ceilings in the master bedroom, master bathroom and the kitchen. Secured, high speed internet, improved cable TV, new washer and dryer, new dishwasher, multiple smart TVs. In 2021 we added a new porch swing and new refrigerator to the “Blue Whelk” side and the “Abalone” side got a new refrigerator in 2023. Both sides received new outdoor furniture in 2023. All of the TVs are flat screens. The living room now has a 55 inch, the master has a 48 inch and the other bedrooms have 40” TVs so that you don't have to miss the big game while you are at the beach. Jul 6, 2023 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### 2023 Seashell Sanctuary A Loved the property! It was the perfect size to accommodate our family. The kitchen was well stocked with items necessary to cook any meal while we were there. Loved the griddle! Probably used it each time when cooking a meal. The property is conveniently located to available amenities and it was just a short walk to the beach. Only a short drive to Golf Shores for a large selections of eating establishments and shopping. For family enjoyment The Fort Morgan area was not as crowded as other beaches. Our family enjoyed the beach, multiple property pools, great restaurants, observing the Blue Angels Practice Session in Pensacola FL, Brandon Styles Theater in Foley AL, and the Blacksmith Experience in Robertsdale AL. Great location close to the beach and pool. Cleanliness was poor. Lots of sand on the floors and dozens of dead roaches under the bed. Only a few live ones though. Some minor issues with the house. The refrigerator temp selector is broken and all our food and drinks froze. Some burned out light bulbs. Beach and pool were nice but very busy when we stayed in late June. ##### Christian V. This property is just beautiful. The design and furnishings are lovely, and every room reminds you you're on vacation! The proximity to the beach is perfect. Absolutely no trouble running back to the house if you've forgotten something. The beach is gorgeous, with water clean enough that you can see the fish several feet under, and small waves that are perfect for children. We had some bug issues, which is totally understandable given that the news keeps saying bugs have been really bad this summer. However, what I want to highlight is that Darryl (host) was on the phone with me within 10 minutes of my sending him a message Saturday night, and he had someone out to spray for bugs on Monday morning. He is such a nice guy, and truly cares about his property and guests' experience. All in all, no complaints and we'd happily stay here again! ##### Emma B. Oct 30, 2014 #### Seashell Sanctuary A Side Can't say enough wonderful things about this beach house.....The location was fabulous...across the street from pool and hot tub .....about a 2 1/2 minute walk to the beach. The Beach house was absolutley perfect for my family. All the remodeling and upgrades were beautiful - granite countertops in kitchen and bathrooms...new kitchen appliances, stylish, clean furniture and decor. The master suite upstairs was perfect - a walkout balcony with a stunning sunrise beach view - we loved having our morning coffee on the balcony watching the sunrise. My young adult daugthers and six year old grandson loved the beach - they snorkeled and saw sting rays....one day we saw dolphins playing in the surf. Communication with owner was great and helpful. Jun 10, 2017 #### What to know, before you go! PROS: Great location, especially if you like a slower pace. Beautifully decorated inside. Beach was pretty and white sand. Lots of pool access....but lots of little kids and noise. CONS: no screens in the house windows. Unable to see through most of the windows due to broken seals. Broken beach umbrella, not equiped for out of town guests who can't bring their own. No cooler. No wifi at house, and no password or sign on provided for guests. And 12 + miles to town. Strange mirror located above master bed on the 20 foot cove ceiling. Appeared to cover and old skylight (?) But i am not sure if there was a camera behind it or not. Just kind of creepy and odd. ##### Krisha H. A perfect beach house with many comfortable appointments throughout. A quick few steps separated us from the shore, the pools, the gym, and the hottubs.
