Perfect for Families
This condo was the best we have ever stayed in. We have three kids ages 7, 6, and 1 and the hallway bunks were perfect for my big kiddos while the baby got the second bedroom. The pocket door provided privacy so adults could stay up and not wake the kiddos sleeping in the hallway. This condo location was perfect and had everything we needed. I will say the cooking utensils and pans could use updating as they are very well worn. The master bed also could use a replacement mattress, but it was doable for a short stay. We will be back with our kiddos to the same property the next time we come. Was perfect for us!

Expected More For Price
Listing showed check in as 11:00 but reservation confirmation said 5:00. When I asked about it I was told 11:00 would be the earliest and 5:00 would be the latest. We weren’t able to access the condo until after 4:00 on the day of check in. Balcony doors need cleaned, floors left our feet black, guest bath had a funky smell, broken dresser in guest bedroom, bulbs burnt out in hallway and master bed, extra bed pillows were dirty, living room furniture was dirty, battery in smoke detector died and while trying to figure out which one it was, we notice the other detectors were expired, no furniture on bay side balcony.
The master and guest beds were comfortable, updated kitchen was nice, view from beach side balcony was great.
Overall we enjoyed our stay but were disappointed in the delayed check in and broken, dated furniture and decor for the price.

Loved the location!
The condo was nice and pretty clean. Bed was comfy. The beach was perfect and the walk to our chairs was super easy. Property manager was very friendly. An extra roll of TP for each bath would be ideal. Only complaint is the hot tub timer has a very loud high pitched constant ringing sound when running. We could hear it on the 6th floor balcony. It was very annoying and took away from the peaceful sound of the ocean. Overall, we loved it! Will stay here again.

Seacrest 601 Condominium
Overall we had a wonderful vacation, but we’ve had better experiences renting condominiums in Gulf Shores. The condo was very spacious and did a great job of accommodating our six people but definitely needed some attention. Attention was needed to cleanliness (mainly the floors and sliding glass doors), it needed some maintenance (there were a few broken items and items missing), and it could use some updating.

Fun in the sun!
Condo was as described. Comfortable beds, kitchen had basic utensils, books/puzzles provided, and overall a very nice stay. Some maintenance needed, none of which affected our ability to have fun but would provide for an even better stay. Each bathroom had issues (shower current in master bath would not stay up; loose door knob and slow tub drain in hall bath). Balcony sliding door was very difficult to lock. Master bedroom sliding door had no lock. Knob missing from small bedroom closet door. Dining table wobbles (one table leg loose). A broom would have been nice as there was a good bit of sand on the floor upon arrival. Other than the sand, condo was clean. One big plus was the keypad lock. Not having to deal with keys was very nice. Easy booking/checkin/checkout and good communication from rental office.

I love the property and beach. My second time in same condo. Always security at the property. Pool area nice and clean. Our condo had great space for our family and awesome views. A few issues..floor was dirty, looked clean but if u didn't wear shoes Our feet were black!! Could update furniture in living room~old and worn!! A few updates needed.

Nice enough but needs some updating and repairs. The bed in the 2nd bedroom needs to be replaced asap. And the floors throughout had been swept but definitely had not been mopped. And we had to wash many of the dishes before we could use them because they were filthy with dried food. So the cleaning process needs to be addressed.

The mattress in the master bedrooom was terrible. This unit has an assigned parking spot that we were not made aware of. Other than that everything else was fine. It’s a basic condo with what you need. We enjoyed our stay and the views were amazing.

Picture does not match Condo
I have never been so disappointed in a Condo and have rented many in the past. The look of the condo does not at all match the picture. This condo looks as though no one has done an update in 20 years. There are cracks in plaster, rust, the kitchen needs to be completely updated. Neither of the sliding glass doors would lock. Bathtubs held water and would not drain you would stand in 2" of water. . Lighting in bedrooms and bathrooms were terrible. Main door would not close when shut it had to be slammed. Door stop would not work so door had to be held. Bathroom sink would not drain you had to place an object in sink to hold open. A 2" roach was found crawling in one bedroom. Cracks nad chipping paint on base boards throughout the condo. TV cable cords palced in front of balcony door loose and a hazard for tripping. Walls where picutres had been have been removed and left blank. TV in guest room was 12 inches wide. Very dissatisfied with this Condo. Will be asking for some money back it was so dissapointing. Owner should be made to update before allowing renters to be duped.

Right on the beach
Most of the previous reviews are accurate. The ladies at Bender Realty are super friendly and made the entire reservation and check-in process a breeze. Seacrest is right on the beach and the unit has a balcony facing the beach & another over the parking lot.
The unit is dated & a bit worse for the wear but serves its purpose.
Cons: the floors were not clean at all. The stove was not clean, either. Master bedroom desperately needs blackout curtains! Other reviewers have mentioned this as well. The street lights and parking lot lights are bright! The master bathroom where the tub and toilet are is tight! Hard to move around in there with the door shut. The front door has to be slammed in order for it to shut completely.
Pros: the air conditioner works really well!
And again, it is right on the beach!
Tip: the unit has one assigned parking space in the parking garage, which is accessed to the right when you enter the parking lot. This isn’t mentioned in the check-in papers and we didn’t even know there was a parking garage until we got inside to get in the elevator.
Overall, it is what it is, a dated condo right on the beach. If you don’t care about aesthetics and just want easy access to the beach without spending a fortune, this is your place

Great Stay
Overall we had an amazing time at Gulf Shores in Seacrest. The place overall was clean and for the most part it had what we needed. There were 6 adults and we had to wash towels every day because there were not enough. We did have one problem, two people on the trip had to remotely work for two days if the stay and we had no internet the whole time we were there. I called and apparently no one could come to fix it till the end of the stay, I was informed that they knew of the issue and it had not been addressed. Internet is an amenity that was needed and the only option I was given was to have the people drive off property to there office and work from there conference room. Even with that I would definitely rebook this location and we completely enjoyed our time!!!
