Lots of repeat visitors each year! Great price for a recently completed redone beachfront duplex. RIGHT ON THE BEACH. Beach Axis is completely furnished and professionally decorated. It has a fully equipped kitchen including a dishwasher and microwave. Beach Axis' deck is as close to the gulf as you can get in the area. Folks LOVE LOVE LOVE its gulf front decks! Most nearby units have their pool behind the homes, putting the pool between you and the beach. Not Beach Axis. Beach Axis' pool is streetside. Sit on the deck, enjoy the sunset, while most neighbors are behind you! How nice is that! The pool is private to the two sides of the duplex—not shared with any other home. One side perfect for your group, then book my Beach Axis East and Beach Axis West listings for the individual units. Take one or both, you'll have a great stay either way! The main floor BR has a bath, there are then 2 baths on each of the remaining two levels. The mystery bath that people don't see in the virtual tour is BEHIND the entry door in the 3rd level (2nd living level) south bedroom. With the entry door to the room open, you can't see the bath! POOL Big. Streetside. Private to the two sides of the duplex: no sharing with other places nearby. The pool is open all year. It's a big oval, 30x15x3-6'. Lounge chairs are provided around the pool. WIFI/INTERNET YES! We have an awesome Eero mesh network to ensure excellent wifi coverage throughout this spacious home. Spotty coverage is always an issue for big places. Sure internet may work next to the router in the living room, but what about the far reaches of the home!? That's why we installed a multi-node mesh network. And what's the internet like? It is generally solid and ran > 100Mb down the last test--sufficient for several simultaneous video conference sessions for remote work and education. Internet is, of course, an amenity and subject to service provider outages (and guests "troubleshooting" it), especially with the havoc the sand and salt wreak on cabling and facilities, no more so than any other home on the beach though, and likely better since its close in and new construction! PARKING There is available onsite, offstreet, parking for 4-6 cars if you use space under the home and stack well. In duplex units, please be neighborly about this. SOAPS, TOWELS, COFFEE, GRILLS ETC ETC As with most beach homes in the area, the local mgt co provide what they call a "starter supply" of soaps, toilet paper, and paper towels, etc. Enough for the first night to get you going! Please plan to bring or purchase additional supplies, and any cleaning or pantry supplies you may need, or to make a quick run to the store (or have it delivered!). You will want to bring beach towels or beach chairs as well. Because mgt cos will not generally support them, grills are not provided, though they are sometimes inherited from prior guests: your mileage may vary on this, and we usually assess and then go snag a small charcoal kettle when we come down ourselves. Also of note: at many locations, you may find the bunk beds (and certain other beds) are not fully made--instead a bedding pack is provided. This is a common practice for the local management companies, which is both green (if the bedding is not used, it doesn't have to be laundered) AND more sanitary--housekeeping does not have to crawl on the bunks and so on to make the beds. Also also... all our homes have both drip coffee makers and Keurigs as well. PETS We do consider well-behaved canine furry friends at many locations. This requires owner pre-approval, and is subject to a pet fee (currently $250 per pet). Approval in a duplex location, especially for peak weeks, generally is only available for guests renting both sides of the duplex. Please inquire. No smoking please, but feel free to eat lots of shrimp, bask in the warm sun, and have a great time! That's it! We think you'll have a great stay in our home. This year marked our 6th year in one side or the other of the Beach Axis home. And once again it did not disappoint!! Rick and his team are top notch and take care of their customers. All bedrooms were great. Each had its own bathroom. Living areas and balconies were perfect. We had 9 adults and it was perfect. We were there during an excessive heat warning in August so it was very hot but otherwise we enjoyed our trip immensely. And loved having a pool to cool off in! Would come back again. ##### Angie s. Thanks so much for checking in! It was WONDERFUL! We loved how close it was to the beach and we got ice cream every night across the street. The anniversary celebration was amazing! We were concerned about the neighbors but we never heard them. We are looking at booking next year with even more family as the neighbors. Would be so fun! Great place! We enjoyed it so much! You all are always very accommodating and informative on getting us any information we need. We really do enjoy staying at your houses. The house was great and had plenty of room for all of us. The location was perfect. No complaints here! And thank you for the cheesecake. It was delicious. I was lucky enough to get a piece of it as it was gone within a few hours! Jan 9, 2024 #### Incredible home for several families We loved this house so much for our beach stay over July 4th! The location can't be beat (two miles from the gulf shores T). The house is right on the beach, and we easily walked out and set up our tent and chairs every day. The house is located on a slice of the best beaches you can get anywhere (imho). But what we loved the most about the house is that it had so many king beds, and each room has their own bathroom(!). It was amazing. There's also a cute basic market, ice cream shop, and restaurant literally right across the road. We basically didn't leave this magical house during the week. We'll be back! ##### Meredith N. Just about everything was really good. The only big drawback was that we had to wait 3 hours past our check in time to have the house cleaned. To be fair , we were warned via email that there may be a delay in checking in. One advantage this property has compared to others is the house is right next to the beach sand dunes. Most properties put the pool between the house and the beach. This property has the pool between the house and the street. ##### Greg L. Loved being right on the beach. We loved the location so much, including being so close to The Beach House, S & S Seafood & the ice cream shop right across the street. The management company never came back to fix the towel rack but that was my bad for sending them away in the first place. Also, I noticed the mirror in the top floor master is only staying up by leaning against the lights. I looked behind the mirror and noticed that the nail was out of the wall.
