Penthouse Unit With Amazing View, Extra Large Balcony! Welcome to Island Royale, penthouse unit #P402\. This gorgeous unit sits high up with an unbeatable view of the Gulf. This 2/2 unit will provide the perfect venue for a fantastic family getaway. This is the Crow’s Nest! FEATURES: Island Royale is located on the main beach road and sits on right on the beach. Take a quick walk down the boardwalk path and find yourself on the white sandy shores. Parking for up to 2 vehicles is included in the rental, and there is a reserved parking spot for the unit. The pool is an indoor/outdoor swim-through pool. There is a hot tub and a kids splash pad and wading pool right by the pool as well. The exercise room is free to use and features a sauna. The unit has a washer and dryer that are free to use, located in a separate room so you can close the door to lower the noise. MASTER BEDROOM: The master bedroom has a King size bed and direct access to the balcony. Sliding glass doors allow beautiful views of the ocean while you lay in the bed. Enjoy the TV with cable through Dish. A closet stocked with hangars provides a great place to hang up all of your clothes and keep your luggage out of sight. A dresser provides extra storage for clothes if you like to pack heavily. A wall mirror will let you know if your outfit is fitting just right! Reading lamps are stationed by the bed for some late night lighting. Enjoy a private bathroom connected directly to the bedroom. MASTER BATH: Enjoy the vanity area with a large mirror. Plenty of cabinet space for storing all of your bathroom essentials. The bathroom features a shower/tub combo. GUEST BEDROOM: The guest bedroom features a Queen bed and private TV with cable through Dish. A private closet allows you to hang up your clothes and store your luggage away safely. A dresser provides additional storage for clothes. Enjoy access to the guest bathroom directly from the bedroom. GUEST BATH: This bath features a shower/tub combo unit. The large mirror and vanity space allow for easy getting ready in the morning and winding down at night and features an electrical outlet so you can plug in any electrical devices. LIVING AREA: The living room offers Queen sized sleeper sofa and 2 recliners. There is sitting for 4 at the dining table and 2 more at the bar counter. Ceiling to floor glass door and windows allow you to always have an eye on the beautiful scenery. A Smart TV with cable provides an excellent distraction if the weather isn't cooperating in the moment. For when the weather is nice, enjoy the large balcony with great views of the Gulf. You’ll be coming back just for the balcony alone! With enough seating for 8 people, you can have guests over and still have plenty of room to maneuver around the balcony. KITCHEN: The kitchen is fully stocked for all your cooking needs. A large stainless steel fridge has plenty of storage for food and drinks, and the freezer is large enough to stay stocked up on what you need to stay cold. An ice maker is located in the freezer, and there is a spot to get water and ice directly on the large French style doors of the fridge. Stainless steel microwave, dishwasher, and oven with a glass stovetop allow you to get your chef on. Both a Keurig and a regular drip coffee machine is available for you to use. I attempt to keep disposable filters in stock for you to use. You will need to bring your own coffee. Also available for your use is a toaster, blender, can opener, pots and pans galore, baking sheets, and a full set of utensils and drinkware. SURROUNDING AREA: Located right by the heart of Gulf Shores, this condo is within a short distance of so many enjoyable stops that you’ll need to come back to see them all. Plenty of great restaurants are located all along the main beach road, highlighted by none other than the Hangout: great food meeting great live music. Plenty of mini golf courses are located in the area, and there’s plenty of beach shops in case you forget any of your beach essentials. Head over to Orange Beach for some great brunch spots and the Wharf which features plenty of shops and restaurants. The Wharf Amphitheater hosts many top notch concerts, so check to see if any line up with your dates! Families looking for some fun nearby can look into going to The Track, which features multiple courses. For anyone up for a little bit of a drive, you can head up to Foley. Foley, AL, has great destinations to spend your entire day enjoying including the Tanger Outlet mall, featuring dozens of premiere shops and restaurants, and OWA - an all inclusive destination featuring shopping, dining, and entertainment. Entertainment includes a large arcade (often featuring gaming tournaments), a stage often featuring comedy shows and concerts, an amusement park featuring a full size roller coaster, and an indoor waterpark! Welcome to our condo. Please read the house rules carefully to ensure a safe and enjoyable stay! Check-in: After 3:00 PM Check-out: By 10:00 AM Max number of guests: 6 - any additional guests may result in an additional fee added to the reservation Minimum age to book: 25 - a person meeting the minimum age is required to stay for the entire reservation Not Allowed: \- No parties or events \- No Pets \- No smoking \- No illegal substances or activities Cleaning: \- Please do not leave the property a mess. You will get charged for any excessive mess or smells left in the property. \- Please take out the trash before your departure \- Please wash all dirty dishes \- DO NOT wash any dirty towels or bedding. Leave towels in the bathroom. You do not need to strip any beds. \- Do not bring in sandy items back from the beach. Make sure front door is closed and locked upon departure. Do not share door codes with anyone outside of your party. Please set thermostat to 76F for spring/summer/fall (AC On) and 68F for winter (Heat On) Parking: \- Parking is included in the rental fees. You are allowed up to 2 vehicles. You must let us know in advance how many vehicles you will need or else we may leave out only 1 parking pass. Damages: \- Look around the unit upon check-in and note any damages. Let us know about anything you find immediately. You will be held accountable for any damages found following your departure if we were not notified of the damage by you upon your arrival. \- Please notify us of any damage that occurs during your stay. Accidents happen and we understand that. We may have to charge you for the damage depending on the cost and damage caused. \- Any missing items will be charged to guests Emergencies: There is no dedicated overnight emergency contact. If an emergency happens, leave us a message. We might respond then. If not, then we will get back in touch with you first thing in the morning. Maintenance: \- Inform us of any maintenance issues that happen during your stay. We will be out or have someone come out as soon as possible depending on the severity of the issue. It might take a day or two if the issue is minor. \- You do not need to be present for us to get in and perform maintenance. Daily Maid Service: \- There is no daily maid service \- Towels and bed linens are freshly washed and changed out before each reservation \- An additional cleaning service may be scheduled for longer stays. You will be charged an extra fee for the service. The property was as advertised, the balcony was especially great. The property was clean all but the ceiling fans was dusty. The property could use a couple of non-slip shower mats to prevent guests from slipping in the shower. Loved the full size washer and dryer that could keep up with all of our laundry. One item we wish could have been different was the setting on the air conditioner as we couldn’t put the temp below 68 degrees. The location to the beach was extremely easy to access and convenient for coming and going. The pool area was another great addition as well as the spacious balcony. The view was great! The proximity to groceries and restaurants was perfect. It was a kid friendly space for my two kids (both under 5). The kitchen was well stocked with what you needed. This is the first time we used a Vrbo. The process was simple and the actual condo amenities were nice as well. However, we did have some complaints for this particular condo though. The deck furniture was absolutely great, but the living room furniture was not comfortable after a long day on the beach. We are a family of five, with three teenagers. And a nice movie night at the end was very uncomfortable. There was only one single chair that we traded off and on during the week. The master bed was definitely old. Each side had a body divot that you would roll into if you tried to change positions. The sheets for the master bed were also definitely old. The first night, we thought we had a lot of sand in the bed, to only realized that the sheets were all pilly. They had definitely been washed a lot. That needs to be changed! But overall, sandy beach was nice and we had a great time with our family regardless of those frustrations. ##### Jamie C. We had a great condo and an outstanding view from the spacious balcony. We tried only restaurants we hadn't been before. Well, except for Lulu's....had to pay tribute to her brother, Jimmy Buffet! and we went parasailing! Ike's was set up right beside our condo and it was very convenient! It was a blast!
