Construction was completed on this home in January 2007\. It is approximately 3/4 block from the beach. AThe house is located in the Fort Morgan area of Gulf Shores, close to four restaurants and about 20 minutes back into town, which is near everything. Installing February 22, 2022 a new 7 man hot tub under the house. A video is attached of a showroom version. The new hot tub will be identical except larger (8' x 8'). Also stained and protected the front deck, stairs, underneath stairs and underneath the front deck in January 2022\. The back deck was full replaced in January 2022 and is being stained and protected in March 2022\. Other upgrade happening in February & March of 2022. There are two golf courses in the Fort Morgan area, Kiva Dunes and the Peninsula. Check-in is directly at the house. The address is 457 Buchanan Court West. I can send directions in your contract package once I know which directions you will be arriving from. The house has some additional amenities that are not listed on the website. I have two picnic tables downstairs along with an extra large hammock. There are beach toys and beach chairs, some rafts and boogie boards. There are 3 king beds and 1 queen bed. The house is not overly stuffed with beds, so it is very comfortable! Two of the rooms are considered master bedrooms as they have bathrooms directly attached to them. There is a front deck and a back deck. Both have patio furniture. The beach is about 2/3 block from the beach and the house is located on a street that dead-ends into the beach (Gulf of Mexico). The street address is 469 Buchanan Court West, Gulf Shores, AL 36542\. The house faces east, the gulf is to the south and Mobile Bay is to the north. The island is only two blocks wide in this area, so there is a view of both the gulf and the bay from both decks. You can fish directly from the beach, or you can crab from the pier approximately two blocks away. This is a very family oriented area which is extremely relaxing. There is dish network in the living room, all four bedrooms and the tv under the house. Netflix is also provided in all rooms (already signed in). All linens are provided. I keep 8 towels and bath cloths in each of the 3 bathrooms. Each bed has clean sheets on the bed, (ready for a nap, if you like!). All dishes, silverware, appliances, pots and pans are provided. There is a starter roll of tissue in each bathroom and a starter roll of paper towels in the kitchen. Just bring your paper products, food, hair dryer, clothes and medicines and you should be set. I stayed with my adult children and grand child. The beach is in walking g distance and there were plenty of chairs for us to take to the beach. The house was decorated beautifully and the beds were wry comfortable. The location is quiet and the beach wasn’t too busy, even on Memorial Day. The property owner was a joy to work with, and completely responsive to any questions. Having 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms made it so easy for everyone to have their own space to get ready for the beach or to just hang out. The house had plenty of towels, dishes and cooking utensils. There were TV's in all the rooms and a new flat screen in a cabinet downstairs to watch while relaxing in the hammock. Our 2 year old loved all the toys available to play with and take to the beach. We did not need to bring anything but our clothes, food and laundry detergent! Kim was awesome, she was very responsive to our questions and had the house all ready for us when we arrived. Property is clean and spacious and is just a short walk (a minute or so) to the beach. Communication with the property owner was quick and helpful. Hot Tub was a great bonus that we didn't even think we would take advantage of, but loved! Will definitely stay here again on future visits! ##### Owen H. There’s everything you could need for a perfect beach day with your family. The kitchen is beyond stocked with everything you could ever need to prepare family meals. A full service coffee bar which is a love language to me! Every room is gorgeously decorated with its own theme and special touches of love and care from the moment your tires hit the driveway. We enjoyed the hot tub, hammock and full patio seating in the shade & privacy of the Kim’s home. We were able to just unpack our bags and enjoy our time in Fort Morgan. Our family couldn’t have had a more wonderful experience during our stay at Reel em’ inn! Thank you Kim for all your sweet hospitality and opening your home to my family! ##### Heather T. Reel-Em Inn is the perfect place for your family getaway to the Fort Morgan area. We enjoyed the short walks to beaches that were not over run with spring break crowds. The short trips into town were a breeze and our trip went by too fast. Don't miss out touring Fort Morgan too! Kim is a wonderful host that looks to continually invest back into her property, and wants to make sure your stay is the best it can be.
