Avalon 1905 is a 5 bedroom/5 bath, Club Level, luxury condo with a 50 foot balcony, 2 master bedrooms, and a Direct Gulf View of the Gulf of Mexico! It located on the 19th floor of the Avalon tower at The Beach Club Resort, just 12.5 miles West of Gulf Shores, Alabama. It is "Right on the Beach" with pools, hot tubs, tennis courts, fitness center, spas, shopping and restaurants with bars and a lot more! This beautiful condo offers 2636 square feet of living space, upscale furnishings, travertine floors, granite counters, cable TV and WIFI. The 50 foot balcony is accessible from the two master bedrooms which are located on both ends of the condo and the living area. There is an open floor plan, so you will have an amazing "High Rise" Direct Gulf View of the Gulf of Mexico from the living/dining area/kitchen area and both master bedrooms! The spacious living area offers comfort, an HDTV, DVD player and a great view! Both master bedrooms are equipped with king beds, HDTVs and DVD players, and each privately adjoin a large master bath with a double sink vanity, a huge jetted tub and a walk-in closet. The first master bedroom even has a walk-in shower and additional built-in storage. Both offer a direct gulf view from the bed! A queen guest room and the twin guest room adjoin a private full bath. The second queen guest room is located across the hall from a full bath. The beds are made with fresh white linen. The bathrooms are stocked with a moderate supply of white bath linen. Personal size bath soap, shampoo, conditioner, one roll of tissue is provided for each bathroom. You may need to pack hairdryers, and personal toiletries. There is a full size washer and full size dryer in the utility room. A one day supply of clothes detergent is supplied. The galley style kitchen, with full size appliances and a large pantry closet for your food, is fully stocked with everything you will need to prepare most meals, just bring the food, coffee and your disposable items. Items supplied for kitchen: Dish towels, dish washing cloths, one roll of paper towels, a small bottle of dish washing liquid and automatic dish washing detergent. Without any additional charges, you will have access to the pool, hot tub, wading pool, restrooms at the foot of the towers, three boardwalks to the beach, a playground, basketball courts, and charcoal grills . You may patron the fine casual dining restaurant/bar and the salon, located in The Clubhouse and the sports bar and grill, coffee and ice cream shops, souvenir and beach gear shops located near the entry of the resort. Seasonally, you may rent lounges with umbrellas on the beach, rent kayaks, The beach attendant will greet you and arrange the payment. The owner of this condo is a member of the Clubhouse, so you will have access to the "Private" amenities, as well, by paying a daily fee at The Clubhouse desk in person for the days you choose, if any. This fee varies from $38 - $50 per day based on number of days used, but that amount covers your entire party, not per person. The "Private" amenities include an indoor pool and fitness center with Gulf Views, a game room, luxurious locker rooms with showers and a sauna, tennis courts and more! Please review the locator map. Deck was large and room for all 10 of us to sit out there at once. Parking was a breeze and the community and activities are a plus. Upon entering the condo, it was hands down our favorite place we’ve ever stayed. The place was clean, super spacious and absolutely perfect for our needs. That being said, we discovered bed bugs in one of the rooms, and when I reached out to Pam (with pictures), I didn’t hear anything back. I messaged her a couple other times with general questions and never received responses. I had two urgent questions, and she did respond to those. Overall, if the bed bug situation can get fixed, it’s a beautiful place. Don’t expect a ton of communication with Pam, especially in the messaging section of VRBO. I had to find her cell to get a response. I’m only doing a 3, due to the bed bugs and lack of communication. ##### Elizabeth W. There was plenty of room for everyone without feeling crowded. There was a really bad storm one of our last night there that caused water to get under the floor in one room, but I don't think that happens often. My only complaint is the realtor that manages the property. She waited until the day before we arrived to tell us about a "mandatory" parking fee. When we arrived, the guards told us no fee was needed since we were overnight guests. The realtor then waited 2 weeks and charged our credit card for the parking fee. I was also kind enough to notify her of the water in one bedroom before we left so that it could be cleaned before the next guest. She did not offer any partial refund or apology for the issue. I would stay at the same condos again, but would rent one that is managed by Spectrum Resorts instead of dealing with Pam. ##### Deanna K. The Condo was more than expected with lots of space for our family. Kitchen had everything we needed. The deck was so large and enjoyable for all 9 of us. Would definitely rent again…it is a little ways from the grocery store so we ordered our groceries to be delivered and it worked great. ##### Pat P. It’s breath taking! We had a large group, there was plenty of room! Very spacious. When we cooked, we had everything we needed! The back refrigerator was a bonus! Each bedroom having its own bathroom, very nice! Wr will definitely go again! There is a 12 mile drive to get into town, that isn’t bad at all. The beach and pool not over populated. The accommodations were very clean and well maintained. The distance from town is a bit of a hike, but it worked out fine. The Village Hideaway Restaurant was great. The pool area as well as the beach were awesome. Our family is small. Ten of us were there. Our mom had an accident on day one and ended up in the hospital but after 3 days, because we were all together to take care of her, they released her and we were able to take care of her and enjoy all being together. It was a beautiful property with plenty of room to spread out. I loved that there was a bathroom for every bedroom. ##### pam g. We are from the rocky mountain west region so we couldn't pack in anything. The condo had everything we needed and more!! Privacy, comfortable gathering spaces and seats for everyone, quiet (when the older folks went to bed early), and the beds were amazing!!! Did I mention the bed were soo comfy!
