Island Winds East Units: During Spring Break, mid-May through mid-August, Labor Day, and the Shrimp Festival event, each unit is allotted one (1) parking pass, regardless of its size. Extra parking options are available offsite, and please note that these arrangements may be subject to change. On-site paid parking is available and managed by the property's HOA. Parking passes can be purchased upon arrival and are valid for the duration of your stay. Please be sure to display the pass clearly on your driver's side dashboard at all times while on the property. \*Rates are set by the HOA and are subject to change without prior notice. For the comfort and safety of all guests, U-hauls, trailers, boats, jet skis, buses, and similar vehicles are not permitted on the property. The pull out couch/bed was incredibly uncomfortable - the mattress definitely needs replacing - I'm surprised springs weren't popping through the fabric. In spite of that, we had a fabulous time. A security guard monitoring the parking lot which was a first for me. Very close to the water but would love for the boardwalk to be extended to the end of the dunes. We were right above the pool but the noise was not bad like I have experienced at other condos. We stayed Labor Day Weekend and it was packed but we did not have to wait on the elevator at all.
