The Guinness World Records Museum showcases hundreds of groundbreaking achievements from natural science and engineering, to sports and entertainment. At this great attraction for the entire family, you’ll find interactive exhibits that bring to life the world-famous Guinness World Records books. You’ll even have the opportunity to set your own records.

The museum is a walk-through self-guided entertainment complex, home to original and replica memorabilia and artifacts. Measure yourself against the world’s tallest man or compare your weight to the world’s heaviest man. Learn about the most tattooed lady or the most expensive box of chocolates. Check out the world’s most expensive car, the longest motorcycle and the smallest bicycle.

Step onboard a replica of Noah’s Ark to learn about the animal kingdom or walk deep into a cave to discover natural wonders. Don’t miss the Chinese water torture cell, made famous by the illusionist Harry Houdini. Kids will enjoy dozens of interactive displays, including one that shows how stretchy your skin is. 

Music lovers will appreciate the display dedicated to Michael Jackson and his record-breaking album, Thriller. The music industry is also celebrated with exhibits on the Beatles and Elvis Presley. You’ll even see Elvis’s famous Hound Dog boat. Learn about great sporting achievements, including those of basketball star Michael Jordan and NFL quarterback Dan Marino.

Go to the arena to try to set your own world record through a range of activities. Among these are challenges for typing, block breaking and block stacking. Museum staff members are on hand to help you with the challenges.

Located in downtown Gatlinburg, the museum is a short walk from the town’s other major attractions. The Gatlinburg Trolley stops close to the museum’s entrance.
