It´s located in the center of the small and quiet coastal village of Alcalá. Tastefully decorated, it offers everything you could need for a comfortable holiday. The highlight is, of course, the large and private roof terrace with an amazing view of the Atlantic and the neighbor island of La Gomera. The access is trough a spiral staircase from the living room. A dining table and 2 sun beds also guarantees for relax. Also, High Speed Wi-Fi, Smart TV, Netflix and a balcony is provided in the living and dining room. On the same floor, you find a fully equipped kitchen, a master bedroom with 2 adjoined single beds and a second bedroom with 2 single beds, a a bathroom with shower. The car can be parked in the garage in the same building and the access is with remote control. The quiet village Town square is surrounded by laurel trees and different banks, a supermarket, a diving school and different bars and restaurants, which are wonderful to taste the local gastronomy. On Mondays even a small village market takes place, where you can also buy fresh fruit and vegetables directly from the local farmer. A beautiful beach promenade leads in just few minutes walk to 3 other small sandy beaches and natural pools, with bike paths, children's playgrounds, etc. Alcalá is still one of the few small coastal Towns in the South of the island, where you can still experience the local atmosphere. It´s a perfect holiday home for beach holidays, as well as for nature lovers who want to escape from the huge mass tourism centers of the Island. It is expressly forbidden to hold events and parties, as well as the access of people not listed in the reservervation. It is also requested to respect the neighbours, not making noise from 22.00h. onwards. Groups of young people under 20 years are not permitted. It does not have air con but is well equipped otherwise. Noise through the day from the plaza below, as well as building activity nearby and week day road sweeper very early, before 7 am, not conducive to sleep. Peaceful through the night though and well positioned for swimming, walking, restaurants, & so on. Basement garage a good asset though it took a while for the management to give us the right key. Die Wohnung verfügt über einen Tiefgaragenstellplatz und Aufzug, was beim Bezug der Ferienwohnung und bei Einkäufen sehr praktisch ist. Es gibt unzählige Strände in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Bei Alcalà gibt es eine Bucht mit einem kleinen Sandstrand. Der etwa 1km entfernten Jaquita-Strand ist schon grösser. Wir bevorzugten dennoch den ca. 4 km entfernten Strand in Puerto de Santiago las arenas. Hierfür empfiehlt sich aufgrund der Parkplatzsituation im Sommer der Kauf einer Buskarte am zentralen Busbahnhof in Costa Adeje. Wir hatten das Glück die Feierlichkeiten zum Fest der schwarzen Madonna an Maria Himmelfahrt mitzuerleben. Dieses Ergeignis findet alljährlich in der Woche vom 15.08\. an der direkt bei der Unterkunft gelegenen Calle Plaza mit einem imposanten Feuerwerk statt. ##### Christian W. Vom Balkon und von der Dachterasse hat man einen wunderschönen Blick. In der Küche fehlt es an nichts. Die tolle Lage an der Plaza bringt es mit sich, dass es gelegentlich laut ist: Der Kehrwagen kommt jeden zweiten Tag am frühen Morgen, zweimal in der Woche wird die Plaza abgekärchert. Am Montag, wenn der Markt stattfindet, wird die Plaza mit Musik beschallt und es fand auch während unseres Aufenthalts ein Fest statt. Das Schlimmste aber war der Baulärm von der Baustelle gegenüber von 7:00 bis 15:00 Uhr. Good sized balcony overlooking town square with small local bars and restaurants. Excellent wi-fi. Dedicated parking bay. 2 mins walk to seafront. Good communication/directions from agent. Dachterrasse),keine "Pladderdusche" und gut ausgestattete Küche. Leider manchmal etwas laut und damit meine ich nicht die belebte Atmosphäre durch das reichhaltige Gastronomieangebot auf dem Plaza (meistens gegen 23.00 Uhr Feierabend), sondern Kehrmaschine ind Laubbläser um 6.00 Uhr, Kanalreinigung um 5.30 Uhr sowie mehrere Wertstoffcotainerleerungen mitten in der Nacht.
