Location - It is in zone 10 which is a safe zone and 15-mins drive from the La Aurora International Aiport. Shuttle service- They charged $15.00 USD one way. It is not an actually bus or van which I am accustom seeing in other countries but it is a regular cab service they used. They sent one can for 4 persons with 4 large suitcases, we had to squish together in the backseat. I strongly advise to use an Uber it’s what cheaper. The Uber service in Guatemala City is cheap and convenient. Balcony room- it is more of a huge window with a step out. Cannot really sit outside and it is not much different than the regular rooms so save your money. Cleanliness - Housekeeping came everyday but the tiles in the shower between the grout needed scrubbing, Beverage area- there is a Nescafé Agustin machine and you get 2 pods, one caffeinated and another decaffeinated; this coffee is better than what they serve at breakfast which seems to be watered down. Housekeeping sometimes forgets to refill this area. Complimentary breakfast- this was okay. You get an omelette station, assortment of pastries/breads, hot food section - always beans, plantain, sausage, scramble eggs and a Guatemala dish like tamales. Basically same everyday but you can choose to go to a hotel without breakfast options as there is tons of places to dine or cafes to go to. This is a budget hotel great for groups. Is a good business hotel, nice rooms, nice bed, however the shower is not good. Food and service are also good and the gym is small but nice and have everything you need.

It is a basic hotel, it seems that they did not have the budget to finish it because the bathroom lacks many accessories, they offered free breakfast, we left the room 2am and the charged my husband for a bottle of water They did not have a courtesy, it is not the price of water but the attitude that counts.

Called in to report Air conditioner as it was not working. Repair man came in 3 times and it was still not fixed. It was so hot. There was no offer to move rooms. Also asked for a wake up call and the phone did not ring. I had a knock on door which made up for it. Breakfast was poor..service was also poor..also coffee was so strong it was not drinkable. Reported this to hotel front desk and all they said they would make a note. Also there was no coffee maker in the room. I dropped something under the bed and saw the dirt under the bed it was disgusting it seemed like it has not been sweaped in months. Lastly the toilet paper was so rough..the cheapest available.

I felt safe staying here with my kids. The view of the city from our room was beautiful. Walking distance are plenty of places to eat and safe to walk.

A decent hotel in zona 10. The breakfast was surprisingly good. My room was at the front of the building and there was some music coming from the street on Saturday night but it didn’t go too late. Employees were helpful and location was convenient for the airport.

The staff is really nice and you are able to change money. They are very accommodating. The breakfast was good, everyday different options. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel was great, but when checking in I paid for a shuttle to the airport to arrive at midnight and when I was checking out there was no recollection or tracing for it and no shuttle so I had to order an Uber and didn't get my money back.

Wyndham hotel was a beautiful experience, the staff was wonderful from the moment we arrived, answered any questions we had and answered with kindness - I would definitely book with them as our hotel for our following trips

I really liked this hotel it had a very minimalistic vibe, eco friendly and clean. Some drawbacks 1. My shower sprayer was broke and would not stay on the holder once water was on. Also water was not hot and did not get hot. Lastly the front desk reception took my money and was not trying to give me change back. I mean let me tip you, not you just take!

Located In a very nice and safe area of Guatemala City, Many great restaurants near by as well as other well known hotels. I would suggest a small refrigerator to keep cool water in the room
