Our family of 6 recently traveled to Guangzhou to completed an international adoption. We were not looking for concierge services, bell boys, or extravagant breakfasts. We wanted a place where we could all be in the same space and have a more home like feel. We enjoyed being able to cook & eat in the apartment. The cigarette smoke was pretty bad, drafting over from other units, especially in the bedroom with no windows. The beds are VERY firm. The location is fantastic, which is why we selected it. The first building that you see when you use Exit A of the metro station. The tower-building named "the Legend" accommodates six different hotels. Pros: Location; near Starbucks, H&M and many restaurants located on Liu Ma Lou. Opposite to the friendship mall. Spacious rooms, acceptable level of cleanliness, towels changed daily and rooms cleaned daily. Cons: TV menu is only in Chinese language. No international Tv stations. But with the help of the Chinese staff, they will show you how to find the uploaded Hollywood movies. Internet connections is a bit slow. If you are planning to eat inside your room, make sure that you bring your own utensils. Building too crowded and not really clean.
