IL CASTELLO DEL PILOTA

Il Castello del Pilota, located near the hamlet of San Terenziano, in the municipality of Gualdo Cattaneo in the green heart of Umbria, was born from the genius of its own builder and owner who, during the renovation, expanded and enriched it with particular and eccentric architectural details, making it one of the protagonists of the hills overlooking Todi.
From its privileged position, the view you will enjoy is immeasurable; the countryside that surrounds it characterizes stays at the Castle for the peace and serenity it offers to its guests. The large windows on every side of the building allow you to dominate the horizon with a view from valley to mountain, to enjoy the summer breeze and the spectacle of mists in winter.
The small and characteristic village of San Terenziano is an ancient fortified center, now a fraction of the Municipality of Gualdo Cattaneo, and is only a couple of kilometers away. This charming little village is not lacking in artistic and cultural attractions that attract numerous tourists every year. A few kilometers away you will find Todi, a medieval city of unique beauty and elegance perched atop a hill, at an altitude of about 400 meters, dominating the enchanting Tiber Valley. The town is part of a territory rich in art, culture, traditions, and flavors and is famous as "the most livable city in the world". In Todi, you will find shops, supermarkets, and restaurants where you can taste all the specialties of the wonderful and rich Umbrian cuisine.
In the castle, marbles, thresholds, and travertine finishes dominate, along with wrought iron chandeliers and furnishings, rustic terracotta floors, and naturally, ancient inlaid fireplaces. All the internal environments of the Castle are connected by a system of doors that, if necessary, can be closed to delimit independent areas. The structure offers you the possibility to stay in spacious, comfortable, and very well-equipped environments: WIFI, SMART TV, independent and adjustable heating, which will allow you to stay in total privacy and relaxation. All bedrooms have their own private bathroom. The valley-facing windows keep all the rooms always fresh and ventilated without the need for air conditioning. The Castle also offers the possibility to use a laundry room with dryer and ironing board. On the second floor, you will find what is probably the highlight of the structure, the largest and most panoramic terrace of the Castle, a real open-air room, perfect for your outdoor meals. On the Tower, from its solarium, you can enjoy a unique and suggestive view, overlooking the loopholes from which you will enjoy a feeling of freedom, enveloped in the wind that passes through them in every season.
The owners live on-site, in a completely separate and independent unit of the Castle.
GROUND FLOOR: imposing entrance hall leading to reception area with service bathroom (WC only), large equipped kitchen, and large, bright living-dining room with bathroom with shower. Lounge with sofas and small sitting room.
With access from both internal staircases and external entrances to the floor, there is access to the upper floors.
FIRST FLOOR: Three double bedrooms each with en-suite bathroom with bath. Laundry room with bathroom with shower.
SECOND FLOOR: large living room with service bathroom (WC only), one double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with bathtub, bedroom with 2 single beds with ensuite bathroom with bathtub and large terrace/solarium equipped with deckchairs and table and chairs to eat outside.
THIRD FLOOR (TOWER): double bedroom with private bathroom with shower.
FOURTH FLOOR (TOWER): panoramic terrace/solarium with wide view over the valley.
