Downtown Guadalajara (where you can, for example, see beautiful murals by José Clemente Orozco) is within walking distance. Immediately next to the building in which this apartment is located is a hole-in-the-wall grocery store (closed on Sundays), where you can buy some fruit and vegetables, fresh warm tortillas, milk, cheese, oats, refried beans and whatever other basic necessities you might need.
