"This is a nice place for a relaxing fishing trip. Not too far from amenities (grocery store, restaurants) in Port Arthur, and there is a little grocery bait store a mile or two down the road (with live shrimp!). The pier is long and we caught a nice variety of fish. Good space under the house to stay out of the sun, cook and enjoy the breeze."

Reached out a few times via VRBO msg, phone calls, and text msgs; only connected once with owner. The one time we connected I was able to get info needed for arrival and departure. "We had no hot water, someone was supposed have come out, but never did. The flower planters needed to be groomed as well. Unfinished molding above the kitchen bar area. No oven. Exposed breaker box without a cover . The size of the home was perfect accommodations for my family. Loose electrical outlets as well. The host did allow us to check in early and late on departure."

"The house was lovely, the yard needed mowing badly. Was disappointed the yard was not fenced. We thought a pet friendly property would have a fenced yard. The neighborhood was awful. We tried to not go out at night. Neighbors had large groups of people outside almost all the time they played loud vulgar music. The yard had little cockle burrs bad. They got into our little 6 pound senior dogs fur so bad we had to take him to the animal er to get them out on Saturday."
