The resort is located in the village of Grottaglie, famous for its ceramics production, in the Itria Valley. This rural area is rich in masserie, the typical Apulian country estates, and is known for its trulli, the characteristic cone-shaped buildings made of natural stone that you can see everywhere and which can be found in massive numbers in places such as Alberobello. Taranto and the sea are just a pleasant drive away. You will return from your sightseeing trips full of enthusiasm, as the heel of Italy's boot, as this region is often called, has a lot to offer. Visit the historic town centers, most of which are in Baroque style and feature ornately decorated house facades and ochre-colored building blocks. In addition, the Puglia region, so rich in culture and tradition, offers outstanding local cuisine and excellent wines.
