Comfort Inn & Suites Near Burke Mountain
10/10 Excellent
"This hotel was a hidden gem on our roadtrip. The front desk staff were so kind and helpful. The hotel was clean, well maintained and nicely decorated. We loved the fall and Halloween decorations on the front lawn! The breakfast was exceptional with a variety of options, including a delicious cinnamon maple waffle with real Vermont syrup! Highly recommend staying at this location."
Lovely, secluded cabin in Vermont's "Land of Lakes and Ponds"
10/10 Excellent
"The Falls Cabin was everything it was advertised to be. The setting was beautiful and the sound of the waterfall relaxing. It was a central location for all our adventures - from Stowe, Lake Willoughby, Montpelier and Burlington. The stars at night are magnificent! Diane was great at communicating with us. Though we didn’t do any cooking, the kitchen’s well equipped and plenty of board games to keep kids entertained. It would be great for a family getaway."
Capitol Plaza Hotel Montpelier Tapestry Collection by Hilton
10/10 Excellent
"We really enjoyed our stay! The room was nice and very clean, service was terrific."
High Hill Inn
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed at the High Hill Inn and it was one of those rare trips where everything just felt right. The owners are an older couple who are extraordinarily sweet, the kind of hosts who make you feel like family rather than a guest. They were warm, attentive, and so hospitable from the moment we arrived. We had wonderful conversations with them over breakfast, and it felt like visiting old friends. The rooms were very clean, beautifully cozy, with a bed that was incredibly comfortable. The whole place has that perfect Vermont charm, and the views were simply stunning, especially from the outside and around the kitchen area. Watching the Green Mountains from up on that hill was the highlight of our stay. And a bonus: a very cute brown and black goat comes to the front door in the mornings to graze on the milk thistle and grass. A lovely touch of Vermont charm. Breakfast was absolutely amazing, a homemade yogurt parfait with a berry compote that was delicious, plus bacon, eggs, and sourdough toast from Red Hen Baking Company in Montpelier, everything cooked to perfection. Fresh, local, and made with such care. One small note: they were doing some interior work during our stay, so if you see things stacked inside the house, that’s just part of the upgrade/renovation, it never affected our experience at all. If you’re looking for a peaceful, welcoming escape near Montpelier, this is the place. We’ll be back. Thank you Joe and Ann Marie. ♥️"

Rabbit Hill Inn
10/10 Excellent
"When you imagine a perfect Vermont inn experience, The Rabbit Hill Inn checks all the boxes. From the moment you walk in, the warm and welcoming staff greets you, gives you some history of the Inn, and a tour, then shows you your beautiful room. The rooms have a classy New England charm, with attention to detail including snuggly robes, a magnifying lit mirror to put on makeup, and our room was appointed with a working fireplace. The breakfasts and dinner at 24 Carrot were fabulous, fresh, tasty, and again with attention to every detail. The staff consistently over delivered on service the whole stay, taking time to really get to know the guests. It is the quintessential Vermont inn venue!"
The Firehouse
10/10 Excellent
"This is a gorgeous boutique accommodation. It's full of charm and positive vibe. Our room was spacious and delightfully decorated. The cutest kitchenette made breakfast-making a breeze. Valerie is wonderful and extremely friendly. This will now be our go to place in beautiful Vermont. Highly Highly recommended."
