It is a very decent hotel in Grindelwald with few minutes walk to the gondola. We stayed in the mountain view room which can enjoy the amazing view right from the patio. The hotel is a bit old but very clean. The room has everything we need. The breakfast is great with lots of choices and also can enjoy the mountain view right at the restaurant. The infinity pool and hot tub is the highlight as well. We are family of 5 and enjoyed a lot staying in this hotel. Highly recommended.

When I say this hotel was AMAZING, I mean it. I did not want to leave. The views are breath taking, the rooms are a good size and very comfortable. I could stay in the spa area for hours, the quiet room was so peaceful, the sauna area was relaxing, there is a cold shower/pool area and hot tub in the same room as sauna. One of my favorite things was the infinity pool the views are beautiful, the water was a perfect temperature. The only thing I was not a fan of is having kids splashing around in the pool it does kind of take away from the serenity of it all. Regardless that would be the only negative thing I have to say about this place otherwise definitely a 10/10 stay.

Disappointing
Reception staff were not attentive to their guests at all. Complete opposite from our previous hotel stay. Staff were always on the computer in the back. You want to make your guests feel welcome. Servers at breakfast lack social skills. Just ask, what do you want. Wifi cuts out all the time. Loud noise at night from restaurant down below loud music that comes up. Would not go back.

The pool and spa area are amazing, and the views at the pool are breathtaking! Breakfast selection is small but great quality, not to mention the gentleman who served us was outstanding and attentive. The location is also convenient and very close to the train station. Rooms are a little dated but it has everything you need.

We loved the different soaps provided e.g. body wash, shampoo, hand soap, conditioner. The breakfast was deliciously and you can request a fresh omelette thats cooked perfectly! Loved the shared amenities e.g. the wellness centre. It had a sauna (different rooms of varying temperatures), spa, ice room, cold showers. Of course the infinity pool with breathtaking views The rooms are a bit thin so you can hear people stomping or outside street noise. Rooms are a bit old but clean which is important to us. Mini fridge wasn't cold enough but not a big deal. Overall our stay was pleasant and we would return again.

The property is very convenient, although our room has an excellent mountain view but it’s located at the bottom floor or basement. I feel unsafe when leaving the door open at night because the room is too warm. The staff are friendly and accommodating, I will still recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

weather could have been better so pick your weeks carfully but hotel and view was amazing staff are great and very helpful and accommodating cant do enough for you pool was fantastic if a little small but nothing to worry about what a great place to stay

We had a wonderful 2 night stay! The room with a view of the Eiger was fantastic and we were able to enjoy our balcony. The staff was very helpful and friendly. It was a great experience!

A great stay
Bigger than I expected single room with lovely balcony and fabulous views. Ski room is literally next to the bus stop which beat my friends more expensive resort. The outdoor pool is lovely and the breakfast was fantastic. I would definitely stay here again.

Our room was really spacious and had a balcony which was excellent. The breakfast omelette was a real treat each morning. The hotel is in a great location. The outdoor pool is amazing.

Wow! Just wow! Fabulous hotel. Breakfast incredible. Views from the infinity pool are stunning. Staff helpful and friendly. Room views unbelievable. We had an amazing trip up Jungfraujoch. Highly recommended.

Of course, we always try to get all "invaders" out back into nature directly - please apologize that this little spider might have been hiding from our housekeeping team.You also write that you have seen a cockroach in our hotel - these animals do not actually live at 1000 m above sea level - it was very likely a may beetle - these look very similar to a cockroach but are absolutely harmless. Mountain life and nature...We hope you still have many nice memories of your time in Grindelwald and we would be very happy to welcome you again.Kind regards

The infinity pool overlooking the mountains and lower valley was incredible!! Our room had a view of Eiger and a balcony, which I highly recommend!! The breakfast was delicious with so many options. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bathroom is outdates, but charming. I could not recommend this hotel more!!

My family and I had a great stay! We were upgraded to the Eiger suite and the views from the balcony were amazing! The location of the hotel is also great…close to the Grindelwald First cable car, restaurants, shops and groceries. After a long day at Grindelwald First, we took advantage of the spa which was amazing. The breakfast was also wonderful! Highly recommend!!

The hotel is located right in the center of the small town of Grindelwald. There are tourist shops and restaurants all around. There are only a few parking places at the hotel, but the staff said if we couldn't find one they would find an alternate place for our car in the area. The lobby is rustic but looks like it is soon due for renovation. The rooms were also rustic and quite nice, with beautiful views of the Eiger. The included breakfast was so-so. The eggs were too salty to eat, so we made due with toast and yogurt. The front desk staff was quite rude throughout our stay, and seemed to not care about their guests. Several times there was no one at the front desk and we had to wait an unacceptable amount of time for someone to arrive. We overheard several altercations with others guests as well. While the hotel was acceptable overall, if I returned to Grindelwald I would look for other accomodation.

Great location, nice facility, friendly staff, restaraunt and bar next door. We needed to leave a day early and the property would not offer anything to us because we booked via Expedia. The manager did refund our friends we were traveling with because they booked with them directly.

Great hotel in the heart of Grindelwald. Clean and staff is excellent. Train station is 5min walk (400m away). The hotel has been remolded which is great. 2 improvements, 1 shower has cold water intermittently, no matter what time you take shower, plus sink drains slow. 2 bed is way too soft, it sinks you in. Other than these 2, the hotel is a great choice to stay.

The spa and infinity pool were amazing! The view is surreal. We Only stayed one night but I would definitely return and stay longer if I could. There are so many things to do in the town. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were great. The only thing I can complain about is the condition of the rugs throughout the hotel really are in bad shape and need to be changed. The room was hardwood floor though and everything else about the place was great.

I requested a room with a Mountain View and they put me in a room with a panoramic view of the Eiger. I took some amazing photos at dusk of the mountain right from my hotel room! Great central location and walkable most everywhere in Grindlewald.

The Spinne has a spectacular view of the Eiger. Almost all of the rooms have balconies and views. They have an infinity pool with view as well. The staff was so friendly. The restaurant was great both for dinner and morning buffet. Location to activities, shopping and dining could not have been better. Highly recommend.
