"Location was all wrong for us, it would have been perfect for young couples that want to party. Missed that parking wasn't free and got charged an addl $24. They also had an obnoxiously noisy wedding staying on the same floor that work me out of a dead sleep. The desk didn't ask about our stay. Wonder?"

"Front desk staff upon check-in was friendly and efficient. The late night staff was short and didn't seen to enjoy their job much. Hotel and room was very clean! There are no coffee makers in the room, which was a bummer "

"For what we paid, it was acceptable but I won’t stay again. The room I selected wasn’t available because housekeeping didn’t show, which was a slight problem but not huge. The room smelled absolutely awful. The carpet needs desperately cleaned. There were still hairs on the floor in the bathroom. There’s a pool but no whirlpool as promised. I’ll definitely plan my next stay closer to my daughter’s campus, the drive, the experience and the lack of food choices negate the savings on the hotel. The blonde woman at the desk is a peach, love her. "

"Room was very clean and a nicely renovated. It had a great set up with living/sleeping area. It was quiet. You do have to pay for parking, which I’m not a fan of since I’m paying for the room. Breakfast is separate and expensive. There are many good other breakfast options in the are. I would definitely stay there again as the location is perfect to walk around the Plaza."

"My room was clean but the beds were awful. Very uncomfortable. I felt springs through the mattress. The room was also very dark."

"Even the shops and restaurants that AREN'T nearby SEEM nearby because the streetcar stops eery 10 minutes outside the front door of the hotel. This gives visitors easy access to almost everything one might want to do...Country Club Plaza and River Market shopping and restaurants, WW1 Museum, Union Station, The Arabia Steamboat Museum, the Nelson Atkins art museum (and others) and lots of restaurants."
