Was slightly disappointed that the listing said there was 2 kayaks and a canoe, however when we got there there was no canoe. We would have love to have it so that all of us could have went out on the water at the same time. This would NOT keep me from going back. The house was great. Communication was wonderful. House was super clean. We are already talking about going back. Aug 23, 2024 #### Off the grid on Wilson Pond This is a lovely home on Upper Wilson Pond, about 10-15 minutes from Greenville and Moosehead Lake. It is truly off the grid! Power was supplied by solar and backup generator, and worked great. The home was clean, and it was the most peaceful and quiet setting. We loved having the kayaks and dock for fishing, swimming, and boating. The views are amazing! Internet is a little spotty in the house, but this is to be expected in a remote location. The construction and use of explosives was a little disruptive to the peace and quiet and absolute serenity of the place - well not absolute because of the intermittent construction noises.
