Quiet street, large fenced yard. Located in the Historic District of Little Washington, our 1200 sq ft cottage has been fully renovated and is super clean! Granite countertops and beautiful plank flooring are some of the recent high-end upgrades. Central air conditioning and central heat make this a comfortable stay during any season. The Cottage is a casual 10 minute walk to downtown Washington where you can enjoy the beautiful waterfront, the estuarium, restaurants and bars, live music, antique stores and festivals. The new Bug Park playground is one house over and has brand new pickleball courts! A quick 5 minute walk will take you to Haven's Gardens Park on the Pamlico River where the kids can enjoy the larger playground and picnic area. The Cottage is 30 minutes to Greenville NC airport (PGV), Eastern Carolina University and 45 minutes to New Bern and Coastal Carolina Airport (EWN). The Cottage sits on a large, quiet lot with plenty of off-street parking. We are fenced and pet friendly! The cottage is well prepared for guest and their fur babies (if you have them). There was coffee in the kitchen (keurig), shampoo, bodywash, etc in the both bathrooms. Dog bowls/toys/treats! The backyard is huge which our pup loved! We were there for father's day and because there wasn't another reservation after us that day, we were able to enjoy a late checkout (per the host recommendation). It was just fabulous and made my husband's day that much better! The location is just half a mile from Backwater Jack's where you can enjoy yummy food/drinks and launch your boat if you have one. The owner was generous with her time to answer questions throughout our planning and the trip itself. The cottage is well stocked, super clean, and the large yard is great for dogs to explore. Hats off to Patricia for providing such a lovely and comfortable cottage.
