Quiet street, large fenced yard. Located in the Historic District of Little Washington, our 1200 sq ft cottage has been fully renovated and is super clean! Granite countertops and beautiful plank flooring are some of the recent high-end upgrades. Central air conditioning and central heat make this a comfortable stay during any season. The Cottage is a casual 10 minute walk to downtown Washington where you can enjoy the beautiful waterfront, the estuarium, restaurants and bars, live music, antique stores and festivals. The new Bug Park playground is one house over and has brand new pickleball courts! A quick 5 minute walk will take you to Haven's Gardens Park on the Pamlico River where the kids can enjoy the larger playground and picnic area. The Cottage is 30 minutes to Greenville NC airport (PGV), Eastern Carolina University and 45 minutes to New Bern and Coastal Carolina Airport (EWN). This is in a nice, quiet neighborhood and the house was very comfortable. Plenty of room, a full kitchen, living room and dining area, a nice yard, etc. Communication with the owner was excellent; very responsive. It’s located within a short walk to the water, has a playground and tennis/pickleball courts nearby. 5 minute drive to downtown Washington and nice shops, restaurants, etc. You could even walk down there from this house; it was just too hot to do that while we were staying here. GREAT location if you like to walk. I loved walking around the waterfront and downtown, perfect for this. Nice accommodations and attention to detail. Clean and comfortable.
