The living room has 50” TV (second TV in BR), electric fireplace, WiFi. The kitchen is very well equipped including a spice rack, wine, champagne, martini & margarita glasses, brandy snifters & frosted beer mugs, dishes, pots & pans, utensils, microwave,/convection oven, toaster, blender, Kurig coffee maker ( coffee, tea, hot chocolate), dishwasher & washer & dryer (detergent supplied). The dining area has views of the private backyard surrounded by stone walls (circa 1820’s) and woods with an outdoor fire pit, 5 burner gas grill w/side burner, charcoal BBQ grill, patio furniture w/umbrella, swing set, 2 hammocks. The front deck has patio furniture. We border Sunny Hill Golf Course (9 golf courses within a 14 mile radius). 32 minutes to Ski Windham. Our guests are invited to hike on 4+ miles of private trails & picnic areas on our 110 acres, visit with our horses, take the 12' rowboat & pedal boat on the pond. Heat & air conditioning. Golf Courses & Skiing & Horseback Riding: Thunderhart Golf Course is 3 min. away. Rainbow Golf Course is a 6 minute drive. Zoom Flume Water Park, Drive-In Theaters, Farmers Markets, Antique Stores, Art Galleries, Historic Sites, Zip Line, Viking Obstacle Course, Fine Dining Ski Windham is 30 minute drive away offering ice skating, snow tubing, Adventure Center, snowboarding & skiing. The property needs more attention when it comes to cleanliness. Outside furniture in both front and back of house were stain and dirty. Firepit was full of old burnt wood. Fridge didn’t cool drinks so we had to put in freezer. I think this is all stuff that needs to be address before guest get there. As a guess we shouldn’t have to put a list together of things that need to be address so it can be done while we wait. Again nice lady but need to double check property before guess arrive. The property inside was very clean, but overall needs upkeep. The owner was very nice and kindly offered fresh eggs. The overall dwelling had several types of debris/garbage that should be removed such as an old junk table and other stuff by the garage, a "dead" wasps nest by the back door, and an upside-down hammock in the backyard. The walkway to the front door is very uneven and I found it a safety hazard as I walk with a cane. The towel rack in the main bath is falling off the wall, and we could only find one window that opened without difficulty. That said, it was clean. I would think that some TLC along with an updated photo (the trees over the front porch are all overgrown) would greatly improve the property. ##### Dorothy H. The fully-equipped kitchen allowed us to make our own meals and the air-conditioning was extremely welcome in the heat. Definitely recommend! ##### Samia Séjour de 2 nuits en août 2023 ### 6/10 – Acceptable #### Cheng W. 24 août 2023 Points faibles : Propreté #### Host was friendly but home is dusty Elizabeth was a friendly host but the property was dusty there was spider web and dust in the ceiling the king size bedroom door was broken can’t close all the way and the bed back board was also broken whenever we adjust our position when sleeping it will bang to the wall and make a loud bang noise making it hard to sleep, the backyard grill was beyond dirty looks like it hasn’t been clean for a long time we had to clean the grill and wash it before even using it which was annoying since we was tired from the drive up hate to give bad review but this is definitely a 2 star rating for us instead of 4 stars ##### Cheng W. It was like a home away from home. Elizabeth was so very so nice. I would definitely recommend her place. The view of the Catskills was beautiful. We enjoyed the yard with friends/family around the firepit. It was less than a 10 minute drive from Irish Festival. Owner is a busy lady, but made time to welcome us + provide delicious fresh eggs. Elizabeth was very accommodating and made sure we were comfortable and offering to go to the market for us. Loved watching the deer and wild turkeys in the back yard. Easy 30 minute drive to Windham and Hunter mountains for some skiing. Definitely recommend. ##### John U. The farm is close to Windham Path and major attractions. Our host Elizabeth was very nice and offered us complementary farm fresh eggs when we checked in, and a frozen pizza for our stay. We could not find the tv remote and she went and got us a universal remote right away. What makes this place amazing is her hospitality. Overall place was perfect for our stay in Catskills. ##### Mahima S. It’s a very clean, quiet place. Very accommodating and stocked. Very quiet and out of the way but only a few minutes from grocery store, gas stations, good bars and restaurants.
