We sent message we were on the way & verifying location. She responded but we could not see response until we were already in town. Then her response was your visit has been cancelled. Not I'm sorry, no explanation. Nothing!!! She gave a number to vrbo to see if could find us a place to stay for the night. We called the number received a recording advising us we could use website. I was on hold for 10-15 minutes & Noone ever came on. We had to look around for motel/hotel for the night. It being Texas/OU weekend, we had to totally change our plans. We ended up finding a nice place place for Saturday night on airbnb in another area. We had used vrbo before & it was a good/ok experience. We did finally get word that she double booked & the others got there first. I am sure she got both $ because you could not book without paying. She should have let us know in advance. I don't think she had any plans to let us know until I reached out to her. Due to this experience,, I will NEVER use vrbo again. I am too leary of something like this happening again! So traveller's beware.

#### A Quiet Writing Retreat

Expect all the basic amenities in a relatively quiet rural-suburban cottage. The property was clean and maintained. There was even a lit tree for Christmas. The owner is responsive to questions, and every basic need is provided. I had a great stay!

Tucked away in a great little neighborhood. Very clean, rustic, and cozy. Felt very safe here. Loved the Christmas decorations and overall experience. Bed was a little firm for us but everything else was incredible!

#### Fourth of July in the country

Property owner sent me a code via email to gain access and my own wifi password which was super easy. Very cute and open concept with charmingly rustic vibe. A desk with drawers gives a nice spot to get some work done, if needed. Has a stand up shower in the bathroom & owner provided towels. Kitchen has coffee maker, flat top stove with oven, microwave and plenty of counter space. The kitchen also has a decent sized fridge and freezer with ice trays. The place has a brand new window air unit so I was very comfortable. The porch has plenty of seating to hang out including a comfy swing. There is a wall mounted TV and Roku available for use. It is outside city limits so I could hear fireworks, which I expected this time of year. Mattress was very comfortable and king sized. Couch was also very comfortable. I stayed Wednesday night thru Sat morning, check out time was 11am. Great destination to get away from busy city or suburban life. Walmart and other shopping is less than 10 min away. I went and got groceries for my stay and didn't need to leave once. I had a very relaxing stay and may come back.
