As usual, DoubleTree is high quality. Timing was not great for us, as this is Furniture Market week. One night is costing almost $500. That's not usually the rate in Greensboro.

The staff was friendly and tge amenities were decent. I think its a decent motel. I dont think it was worth the price. At this price point: 1) the bathroom was sub par. There was no shower head. And the hand held shower was old and did not stay up which was very annoying. The hairdryer was broken and attatched by tape. There was no toilet paper. 2) no microwave or mini fridge 3) no tea option just coffee 4) ice machine on 2 floors was broken 5) there was only 10-12 channels.. im sorry but if you are part of the hilton llc spring for some more channels.. best western has more channels.. its a little embarrassing.. especially if you want me to use my own netflix password.. 6) no complementary breakfast. I would not pay for the breakfast.. it was very sad. Im not sure how mu h they charged but whatever it was if would not have been worth it. On a plus side the rooms were nice,clean and beds were comfy.

You can tell this is an older property that has a mix of clientele. Some areas of disrepair and the lobby smelled like body odor. Thankfully the room was clean. Would suggest updating shower heads as there seemed to be a good deal of calcium build up.

We booked two queen beds. We got a king with sleeper sofa. I’m not sure if you have ever slept on one or not, but it sucks. Just saying. Other than that. We were satisfied

Facility was run down looking and dirty. We had to have staff come and sanitize our bathroom. They were really friendly about this and gave us a breakfast comp for the inconvenience. However, breakfast area was also dirty, food was inedible. Overall, I would not return to a doubletree after this experience.

Our room had no mini fridge when we booked, front desk stated that if we would like one they could get a fridge sent up to us. Within minutes we had a working fridge in our room. Our stay was great no issues with hotel except it’s next to a busy highway and you could hear road noise.

I have stayed here many times and it is always a nice place to stay. My only issue this time was that you no longer have flavored coffee cream. Half & Half is gross, nobody likes that, please bring back some flavors.

The staff was amazing, however the room itself was lacking. My hair dryer was broken, there was blood on my toilet paper roll, my tv didn't work and the air conditioner would not turn off. I think the facility just needs some updates. Area was nice.

The lobby carpet was very dirty. I made a mistake when I used Expedia and didn’t use my Hilton Honors card. I later talked with Hilton customer service and they said I could change the card when I checked in. The front desk said I couldn’t . This is a a slight irritation. The room is very clean. The TV was very big. The bed was firm with a nice mattress, topper, a premium mattress, overall an excellent place to stay.

No hot water and a/c madw loud noise
Hotel was close to coliseum. The hotel is old, so elevator made noise and the HVAC unit made loud noise when turned on. Additionally, we did not have hot water in our room. It water in shower was luke warm at best.

There is no refrigerator or microwave in the room. You have to request it. I requested a refrigerator, but didn't feel like calling back to see if I could get a microwave.

Property was okay. Furniture in the lobby is showing some wear. My particular room was really noisy. I called the front desk to ask for a room change and receptionist was busy and promised to call back but forgot. I held earplugs in my ears and tried to rest.

Had lot's of parking, mall was only 5 minutes away, greensboro complex was 3 minute drive, could've walked but decided to just drive, lots of food trucks about 2 minutes from the hotel, lot's of homeless around but not to close to the hotel, all the staff was friendly.
