Séjour de 2 nuits en juin 2018 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### frank s. 4 mai 2018 #### Kallaroo Cottage is the perfect place to escape It's the attention to detail that makes Kallaroo Cottage so warm and inviting - from the neatly stacked dining plates in the kitchen cupboard to the homemade furniture pieces - like the coffee table and bedside tables. As soon as you enter the cabin it's as though the only thing needed to make it perfect is a hot chocolate in your hands. We stayed over a weekend and booked Kallarroo for a much-needed timeout. It was the perfect setting. We walked the property and saw kangaroos, horses, cows and birds overhead. We had an open fire BBQ on a perfect full moon night when everything seemed still and quiet. We slept downstairs on a comfortable queen size bed with a plush quilt keeping us warm and our dog on his own comfy bed beside us on the floor. There was no TV reception but we welcomed this and were happy to watch videos or read the books that were provided. We especially liked the interesting pieces around the cabin like an antique fishing rod attached to the roof beams and old horse riding straps. The cabin was spotless and all the appliances worked well. The Bathroom was clean and tidy. The hot water system ran a little too well as it was hot hot hot out of the tap - so a little care was needed to add more cold water than normal.
