The cabin did not disappoint. Nestled along the mighty Madawaska River and tucked down in the forest. We played cards, watched movies, and a sat on the awesome couch with a warm fire while enjoying the views. All basic comforts of home were available, the cabin was clean, and we were more than impressed. Would have loved to have had access to the sun porch, but understandably not in use over winter. We have family in the area, and would love to stay here again next time we visit. Hopefully there will be some availability to do so! Looking forward to a swim off the dock and a bonfire next time!Honestly, even our teens enjoyed the quiet and quaint of the cabin. Definitely recommend! ##### Christine L. Not particularly clean or well-equipped, but manageable. Our main complaint is that the property description gave no indication of how steep and difficult the steps down from the parking area to the cottage were for bringing things for the stay, and no indication that the steps and slope down from the cottage to the water were so hard for seniors to manage more than once per day. Our hopes of sitting on the dock for most of the day and being able to go back and forth to the cottage didn't materialize. We were three single ladies but only one bed was made up and there didn't appear to be any sheets for the other beds. On the positive side, the WiFi was good and there were plenty of clean towels and bottled water provided.
