I would have appreciated more availability of the managing personel (she was never there other than on checking in). This hotel is the first place I stayed in years where no ice at all was available. »

The room is on the second floor; the bathroom is private but down a short hallway. The property is in the country and very quiet. Restaurants and stores are in Ellsworth, and easy 20-25 minute drive. Hosts are lovely and not intrusive. »

« The lodge was beautiful! Such a peaceful, quiet getaway. We saw so much wildlife, and thoroughly enjoyed being disconnected for a few days. The lodge has everything you need.... just make sure to bring the food you'll need for your stay. There are a few country stores within 15-30 minutes, but no grocery stores. My kids loved kayaking, fishing, making smores, and laying in the hammock. We made several say trips to Acadia, and also found some hiking trails nearby. We hope to return soon! »
