« Can I start by thanking Kate on reception who was very helpful when we requested an early check in at 12pm because we were going to a funeral at 2pm. We had travelled 3 hours from the north and she found us an empty room to get changed in which was much appreciated. The room was perfect, clean and warm. The bar was clean and tidy, we only called in for one after the funeral, no problems. The classic breakfast was perfect with plenty to eat and drink and the staff were helpful. »

« Firstly, the location was great. The Stork is near the M6 and minutes away from downtown Lancaster, yet you feel like you are in the country. We enjoyed a last minute stay at the Stork and feel as though we had found a hidden gem. If the rooms aren't brand new, they certainly appear so. We also had a gastropub style meal at night and a complimentary full English bteakfast in the morning. Both meals were very good. We were most impressed by the staff; all of whom were very friendly, professional...
