"Property had no internet after day one. Messaged owner via Hotels.com - no response! Had to go and buy a sim with data to use the internet. Property had a lot of cockroaches in the bedrooms on a daily basis. Messaged the owner via Hotels.com - no response! The adjoining building/house had building work going on all week throughout the daytime. "This was the perfect base for our exploration of Kruger National Park. The accommodations themselves were amazing. Clean and comfortable, we were immensely pleased with ourselves for having booked our room at Kruger Eden. From our very hospitable host, Natalie, to the chef, Joseph, to every smiling employee we met, we always felt welcome and valued. Natalie was outstanding from beginning to end. She reached out on WhatsApp to confirm our arrival time and was there to meet us when we showed up after dark. She happily helped us with booking two safari drives (one private and one through Kruger). She gave us excellent suggestions on where to drive ourselves in the park when we were in our own vehicle. And she responded to every message we sent through WhatsApp in a very timely fashion. Natalie is the most competent host we have ever met! As a bonus, Kruger Eden has its own water purification system enabling us to drink freely without worry. We wholeheartedly recommend Kruger Eden for your trip to this amazing park!"

"The minute we arrived we were greeted by lovely staff and elephants at the pool. What followed was a once in a lifetime experience. The positives - Beds are super comfy with electric blankets for those cold nights and a fan for the warm days. The food was AMAZING. I LOVED being seated with fellow safari mates and getting to know people from across the world even though we are total introverts. Our guide Leighton was brilliant, knowledgeable and an excellent driver. And the wildlife…. Wow. I still can’t believe we saw so many lions, leopards and cheetahs, not to mention everything else. Being birders we were worried that we would be ignored and never get a moment to identify a bird but Leighton balanced the needs of the guests so well and had an excellent knowledge of all animals. The only downsides… when we arrived we were so hungry but because our flight was delayed we missed the afternoon safari and had to wait until everyone returned before we could access any food - a wait of 2 hours was really tough and no one explained what was happening. Highly recommend explaining the daily itinerary to people on arrival and having snacks available for purchase. Loved the Couples shower but unfortunately not enough hot water for 2 people. "
