« We loved are stay at this beautiful rustic oceanfront home. The large windows along the entire ocean side of the house were a highlight. We view of water, boats, wildlife; sounds of waves on the rocks right outside; and ocean air were at once both invigorating and peaceful. We slept in the loft room and watched the sunrise over the ocean from bed. It was glorious. I love cooking and the kitchen was very well equipped to both cook and serve large meals. « Lovely home with wonderful view of the ocean. The house is in the side yard of the owner’s main house but it feels separate and private. We enjoyed outings in the area during the day and cooked dinners in the well equipped kitchen at night. Owners are helpful and responsive. Highly recommend for a scenic Maine getaway! »

« Historic and charming home in a most interesting setting-- the community was a former military fort and barracks. Chat with neighbors on the front porch or watch wildlife and hang out in the backyard picnic tables. Comfortable beds and two full baths makes it good for group of 4-6 people. The golf cart is a godsend but there are bicycles and kayaks for land and water exploration. We didn't make it to the lovely looking pool or rec center for gym/bowling but they look like lots of fun. « This home is situated on a quiet street, but within a half-mile walking distance to the shops, restaurants, and puffin cruise piers. The house is comfortable and well-equipped, with several nice extras. The house was very clean when we arrived. The location is perfect, and we enjoyed sitting outside by the cove. »
