"Just that there is no one at the reception in the morning like we stayed for 2 nights. After 1 night I had questions and there was no one to talk to and the next day after checkout when we wanted to exit the gate and the automatic control was not working it had to be manually controlled and there was no one for that. We had to ask someone in the cafe to help out in that."

"A stunning hotel in a stunning part of Scotland. The room was perfect. The restaurant and lounge area were perfect areas to recharge the soul after a long day riding. The gnocchi special is one of the best restaurant dishes I have ever had. The breakfast was great. One small but personal niggle was the lack of haggis on the breakfast menu. That said it set me up for riding through Glencoe in the snow. My only problem with the hotel is that the parking isn't very biker friendly. I had difficulty getting a grip with my bike boots when trying to manoeuvre the bike. I tried both parking areas and both were slippy. I could have parked on the pavement on the front but it is a main road and I didn't want my bike to be a target. The gravel may be ok on rested legs but after a long day riding it wasn't easy for me. "

"Loved our stay here, it’s worth the price and the trip! We liked it so much, we would come back here for another vacation and stay here the entire time! Lots of easy parking available! As soon as we walked in, we felted welcomed! We were greeted with a welcome drink and was told all about everything they offered! Our room was soooo cute! We loved the fact that the TV’s came out of the beds, everything was so modern and echo friendly. The room felt so cozy and clean, it made you want to just stay inside the entire time instead of leave to explore! They even offer hot chocolate and snacks in the mini fridge. The views were also fantastic of the Loch Ness! The town is right down the street and easy to walk too. I would definitely recommend this place!"

"We had the recent pleasure of staying at Glengarry Castle Hotel in Invergarry. In our opinion it was truly a delightful experience. From the moment we walked through the gigantic doors we were greeted with the warmth and hospitality of Scotland’s past. The staff at the hotel was exceptional, professional and friendly. The hotel itself is so charming -- the lobby, lounge and library exude elegance and sophistication of Scotland history. Our room was clean, spacious and tastefully, historically decorated and the bed was very comfortable. The ensuite bathroom was bright and clean and a nice size. The grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed a walk to the Invergarry Castle ruins. One of the highlights of our stay was the breathtaking panoramic view from our suite that overlooked the loch. It was simply mesmerizing and peaceful, especially during sunrise and sunset. The hotel’s lounge and library were the perfect spots to unwind with a nightcap in front of a roaring fire. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel multiple days and each were excellent and exceeded our expectations in both service, quality and deliciousness. During our stay we did day road trips from the hotel and we always looked forward to returning to relax in the lounge with a drink and reflect on our day’s adventures. If you are visiting the Invergarry area, we highly recommend Glengarry Castle Hotel for an unforgettable experience."

"Incredible setting & historic building. Nice pool, steam room and sauna. Well-appointed apartment with plenty of space. Great spot for exploring Loch Ness & Fort William/Glencoe/Inverlochy. We were a little worried about no breakfast on-site & didn’t know if we could get to a grocery store the first night, but the Highland Club graciously provides you a welcome basket with cereals, biscuits etc, coffee & tea plus fruit & milk. The petrol station in town contains a well-stocked general store with everything you could want, including frozen foods, fresh pastries & alcohol. The history of the building is wonderful. We stayed over Halloween & it was the perfect, spooky backdrop."
