New owners not Super 8
The hotel is no longer Super 8. It is called the Grizzly. The new owners bought it a minth a go. Even though the owner was great, the shift manager didn't recognize that we had a booking. He looked up on his computer and said it wasn't on there. Even with my confirmation on my phone he wouldn't recognize my booking still. There was no prewarning that the hotel was changing to give us a chance to make other arrangements. If the owner wasn't there to point out that was a stack of printed out Super 8 bookings the shift manager acted like he knew nothing trouble is the ypung girl there said they were over on the counter. The owner was very kind and helped us. The room wasn't what we booked vut the accommodated us as best they could. Booked a King got a double queen. There was only enough towels for one person, there was no trash bin either, had to ask for both. I understand change overs are hard but a prewarning would have been given.

The room was very worn and in need of updating. There was a spill of some kind on carpeting and when we called the front desk they were not to concerned about it and had nowhere else to move us. The sheets were clean and the bed was comfortable.

The carpets were disgusting with lots of large stains everywhere. I don't even know where to begin with the bathroom. The sink faucet was missing parts, the toilet paper holder was rusty and dirty. The tub looked like someone had tried to dye something black and is now stained gray. The surface in the tub was so slippery I almost fell numerous times throughout my shower. The bathroom walls were probably re-painted by a young child as the paint is all over the tub surround. I would never stay here again. This dump isn't even worth half of the $140 it cost to stay here.

Room was absolutely filthy. There was pizza pepperoni/cheese on the chair. The hotel was heavily booked with people and there were multiple signs saying how full it was. Carpet was disgusting. Breakfast was subpar (there were no spoons for the cereal, oatmeal and fruit cups) and no waffle maker. The area doesn't feel safe and the back door was never locked.

Busier times lead to more desperate climes, being pulled thin with the amount of guests may have led to some minor issues, but as we are 24/7, if you let us know of an issue, we can fix that issue. As, if you had let the staff know, we hope was fixed to an agreeable degree.

Room was not cleaned when we arrived 2 hours after check in, once we were checked in, the bathroom hadn't been cleaned, the carpet was filthy, the chair in the room was so dirty, that we would not sit in it. We asked for extra pillows, they were not able to provide. The bathtub would not hold water, so in order to bath, we had to cover the drain with a plastic bag. We had to clean the shower before we felt that we could use it. We were in a smoking room which we DID NOT book, the smell was awful, and was impacting our comfort and enjoyment. We were beside an outside door, that was continually being opened and slammed shut all night. Overall we will NEVER stay at this hotel again. For the money we spent, we were very disappointed.

Though we can agree to some minor technical issues, we would be remiss to not point out that your reservation was made through Expedia for a smoking room, and even in the notes sent from them it requests a smoking room in particular. As to cleanliness, we wish that some form of report was made while you were here rather than after your visit, it is much more feasible to see the issue handled in the moment, rather than be regretted later. We do hope that should you find yourselves in Great Falls again, you'll stop in and receive the full intended experience.

The front desk staff were awful. The rooms are dumpy. Didn’t clean our room in 5 days. Had to ask for toilet paper and towels for 3 adults. Parking lot and garbages were overflowing. Would never stay here again

Horrible. Extremely dirty. Full of what seems like questionable activities. Felt unsafe. I ended up shortening my stay to go to another hotel. My advice: it's better to sleep in your car than to go there. Avoid if you can.

The poor rating is for lousy air conditioning. Highly inadequate for the hot weather, just fine in the lobby but it's a sauna on the third floor.

Won't be back.
The sheets on one bed had holes in them that looked like they had been burnt. How did they end up on the bed?! The housekeeping staff seemed to be cleaning all the rooms in the hallway at the same time. Our room door was not fully closed. How long had it been like that? The coffee was awful. There was only grape jelly. The waffles were good. It's dark, it's dingy, it was a disappointment.

As your Fiance likely noticed throughout the time he was here, Great Falls is experiencing a vast influx of people for both the Montana State Fair and extensive construction at the Calumet Refinery. Due to these in conjunction, rooms are being booked out days and weeks ahead of time, it is the responsibility of the guest to reserve their own rooms, not ours, though we have gone the extra mile to warn guests ahead of time to book what they can as long as we have the resources to help them.

We arrived to check in at 2pm, was told check in was not until 3pm. for the summer season, it was not updated online. The other gentleman said to check to see if an other room was available, and it was. We were able to check in then so that was great. I found the bathroom not very clean. The shower curtain could use good bleaching also the bathtub. I really did not want to take a shower. One good thing, the towels were great. Also I had to go out ask for something to be put out for breakfast at 8am.

My 10 month old baby found old dog poop in my room and it’s disgusting. We don’t have a dog and they confirmed that they left it in the room from the person before us how nice. Don’t ever stay at a cheap hotel.

Poor Choice of a Hotel Stay
This Super 8 was under new management and possibly not tied to Wyndham Hotels directly. The hotel is an older hotel. The furniture in my room was very old with the recliner having considerable wear to the point of cracking. The floor was wet along the bed side. Stayed 4 nights and only had service on the room the first night. No service after that, so the trash can was over flowing when I left. The shower head cable was broken so you had to hold the shower head (handicap shower cord) by hand to shower. The free breakfast consisted of only two kinds of cold cereal, apple or orange juice, a packaged danish, and a fruit cup of canned fruit. Only hot items were a waffle and coffee. Very poor breakfast selection. The hotel appeared to being used as a long term stay by the number of our of state license plates consistently parked at the hotel and seeing the same people in robes and slippers inside and outside the hotel. At night the hotel was very noisy with loud music and people clomping around the room floors above. Also, people just let their doors slam when they left their room, so you always heard the door slam from rooms in the hallway. Spend a little more and stay elsewhere.

We should have had to change rooms three twice but I was traveling with an elderly person and just stuck it out. The first room had no air conditioning and was swealtering hot but was in good condition. We switched rooms because we were like a sauna. The second room had a bath tub that was covered in black streaks and a sink that needed to be cleaned and light fixtures that didn't work but at least the beds were clean and the air worked. The inside looks so outdated and dilapidated.

Not worth the money
The hotel was extremely run down. Well past it’s prime. Paint peeling severely around shower surround which was falling apart. No updates done in the past 25 years. One sheet even had a hole in it. The breakfast was cereal, yogurt. No hot items. Very poor.
