The property has two bedrooms inside and a comfortable sleepout, each with a queen bed. There’s a well equipped kitchen, open plan living room, wood burner, indoor & outdoor showers. ( indoor shower has hot water, outdoor shower cold water only) Enjoy a ten minute walk to the golden sand of Medland’s beach. Walk, talk, surf, read a book & in the evenings gaze in wonder at the heavens above. Fishing, surfing, walks, hot springs… even golf! Take a walk to the hot pools (not deep but very pleasant wallowing) Linen & house towels supplied. Please bring your own beach towels. Vehicle access requires crossing of the beach and Oruawharo tidal stream at low tide. If walking, parking is available next to the camp ground and from there, cross the stream using the pedestrian bridge, turn right and it's a 15 minute stroll to the house. Excellent holiday at James’ property set overlooking idyllic Medlands Beach. A simple bach with everything we needed for a relaxing, low key holiday. The kitchen was well stocked to cook nice meals, the view stunning and our toddler just loved playing on the front lawn. Communication with James was easy and helpful. We will be back! A note for future holiday makers: insect repellent is a must and it gets very hot in summer with out being able to use a fan.
