Beautiful property for relaxing. The ride into the cottage a bit bumpy, but overall a great spot to get away from the city.

Place was a bit dingy, leaking plumbing, no railing on steep stairs to dock, old outdated everything, screen doors falling off, no patio chair cushions ,unsafe patio deck and railing, numerous electrical outlets dead. On the bright side, the fire pit and BBQ, were great and the wifi excellent. This place would be unsafe for children. I feel some of the other reviews may be questionable, especially as we were there one week after a glowing review, Then again ..maybe I expect too much.

Great Getaway on Trent
Our family of 5 rented this lovely cottage for an extended weekend and we weren't disappointed. Absolutely beautiful views of the waterway. Great for fishing and deep swimming. No shallow beach area though. Excellent spot for boating ie kayaking, canoeing. The weekend boat traffic was very busy at times but to be expected this time of year. Usually settles by early evening. Cottage has all the convenience and amenities of home. Beds in spare room were a little firm. Nothing and extra sleeping bag won't solve. We loved the wrap-around deck. Bon fires are a must and definitely a highlight. Great area for star gazing from the docks and small rock island. Hosts were an absolute delight to communicate with and made our first Vrbo cottage rental totally worth it. Would not hesitate to come back next year.

Cottage is a Jem!
The photos do not do this cottage justice. The cottage itself is very cute, clean and well appointed. The location was lovely with water access on two sides as it is on a little bay/point. It is on the Trent Water System so there was quite a lot of boat traffic on the weekend but was really nice to view the large boats in particular pass the dock. My daughter loved the visiting otters in the water. I hope to return again next year.

Perfect Cottage
Excellent location right on the water! Great for family and friends. Very secluded cottage and amazing fire pit! I would definitely recommend if you want a place to stay with access to a lake.
