Very nice relaxing room with great staff.

Posted 18-Jul-2016
Called and asked to drop off our luggage early and they said yes. Showed up around 1130am and they actually checked us in even though check in was at 3pm. That was so great. Room was quiet and very clean. Great bed and a relaxing shower.

Nice hotel close to lots of fun shopping.

Posted 18-Jul-2016
Pros: Clean and a great location for shopping and food.
Cons: Exterior of hotel is a bit drab.
Location: Restaurants and cute shops nearby.
Perfect hotel for being close to shopping and eating. Had fun taking the aquabus to Vancouver. Would be inconvenient if you plan lots of activities in downtown. Perfect for a shorter stay!

Beautiful setting

Posted 17-Jul-2016
Pros: The location and helpful staff.
Cons: The bathroom sink was leaking but once I told the staff they took care of it.
Location: It had a beautiful setting near the water, so many restaurants and shops nearby.
The location was perfect, near the water & the boardwalk, what a view and walking distance to the restaurants and shops.

Our experience was exceptional. The room was very beautiful with a modern design and was also very comfortable overall. The view of false creek deffinatly added to our satisfaction of the room.

Good hotel in nice position

Posted 11-Jul-2016
Excellent position and good restaurants and bar. Room was small with 2 beds which make it impossible to place your luggage. Did not need extra bed but could not book alternative. Tight bathroom and balcony is a joke.

Nice hotel on the island

Posted 8-Jul-2016
We really enjoyed our stay at the Granville Island Hotel. Everything on the island was within walking distance we had no problem getting around on foot however if you're driving in a car things get backed up. We would definitely stay there again.

It was good generally, but check-in time had delayed, we had waited for few hours. Also, there were two unexpectable visiting without knocking by hotel staffs. They just opened the door by their keys without any notifications. That's scary!

Great Value

Posted 5-Jun-2016
Pros: Clean and fresh room and very helpful staff
Cons: Not much.
Location: All sorts of shopping in the immediate vicinity. Wide variety of eating experiences available. Short drive to downtown.
Great location with easy walk to market for a variety of eating and shopping options. Easy access to the downtown and beaches side of False Creek by inexpensive pedestrian water taxi. Great view of False Creek and boats going out to English Bay. Front Desk staff were very helpful a couple of times when we needed them. Parking inexpensive compared to downtown. Room was clean and fresh. Bed was a little harder than I like but okay.

Great smaller hotel

Posted 3-Jun-2016
Pros: Close to downtown Vancouver, on the water and really in the centre of unique stores and shops.
Cons: Parking is tight.
Excellent room, nice view of the waterfront and attentive, accommodating staff. The one issue is difficult access by car and parking due to the Granville Island site and its popularity.
