Only complaint was no hot breakfast that I’ve been used to. Should say”Continental breakfast”. I understand that when it’s a slower time of year it does not make business sense to staff a kitchen. Should however inform your guests.

Quaint and well located property. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for repair works. There is no coffee machine in the room and the coffee machine on the floor did not have any coffee pods.

Impeccable room, outstanding staff, charming! Area of opportunity? The food quality in the restaurant has taken a steep decline, and our bartender knew virtually nothing about mixing drinks, proper service, etc.

A wonderful stay.
The service when we arrived was friendly and efficient. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We were close to the elevator and the room was extremely quiet. The breakfast (included with the room) was amazing and the service was fantastic. The Christmas decorations were very well presented and time appropriate. Very well preserved woodwork and authentic decor. Ample parking and a short walk to the shops.

Would love to give it a 5 star rating ... but ... building and staff are second to none ... but the room ... I've had better at a Holiday Inn ... no coffee pot in the room, no desk or table, so all my work on the computer had to be done while laying in bed and then there's the shower (no bath tub) Shower stall was about 3 feet square! Every time I turned around I knocked the shower door open. Very uncomfortable.

Historic inn with beautiful carved woodwork and beautifully decorated for Christmas with several trees and pine swags on the stairs. Extremely clean in all public areas as well as my room. Room was great, comfy soft mattress and luxurious bedding. Unfortunately the mattress is on a platform, and I took some bruises on my legs as souvenirs from the edges and corner. Wonderful step-in shower, good hot water and pressure. The inn is conveniently located a block from the charming downtown shops and restaurants, all very walkable. I was disappointed in the size of the ‘lobby’. I was hoping to relax by the fireplace but it’s very small and directly across from the checkin desk, a literal desk and chair, so I would be awkward. The second floor did have a small sitting room and free Kuerig coffee, tea, hot chocolate. Free, safe parking lot next to the inn. Breakfast, (anything from the menu, plus juice, coffee), is included. The bananas Foster French toast and bacon were delicious. I did not have a good dinner at the inn, though, and the waitress and Maitre d’ that evening, or the desk clerk the next day seemed to care. Several things went wrong, plus the waitress told me there would be a delay as my entree was burned and she refused to serve, and they were remaking it. But it was also burned. I would love to return.

Of the 7 nights I spent in Ohio this was easily the most charming and quiet! I was put on the 2nd floor next to the elevator so I was stoked about that, so I was surprised it was so quiet! My room has 0 view so that was too bad. Had a drink at the bar and it was affordable and quick service. I had a very quick breakfast when I realized it was 5 mins to the end of breakfast I went down and the server was so kind. I wasn’t feeling great and wanted to go back to my room so I just asked for bacon to go. She gave me a nice book with a good serving, and I munched on that all the way to the airport. It was the best bacon of the trip! I didn’t get enough time to enjoy the property but it was a nice end to my week in Ohio!

A great place to check out if you like history and unique places to stay. Staff was great, rooms are clean, breakfast was great and we had so much fun walking around town, trying local restaurants and shopping local stores.

A one night stay. Hotel was lovely. Room was smaller than appeared in pictures but fulfilled out needs. Robes for use in closet. A bottle of wine on the dresser to celebrate our anniversary. Was quaint and lovely. Hotel bar and restaurant with outstanding food, drink, and service. The town was lovely to bop around and spend some time together. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others. Thank you!

Very Serene and elegant place to stay in Granville. If your purpose to visit Granville is Denison, there is no other place better than Granville Inn. Would love to stay again.

We had not stayed here previously and it was lovely. The bed was excellent and everything was very clean. The complimentary breakfast was off the menu and very good. We also had dinner in the restaurant which was first rate.

This is a lovely hotel of high quality. Situated in the small town of Granville, itself a place worthy of a visit with its 19th century homes and buildings. The hotel’s restaurant is superb and offers a wide range of meals for the traveler.

It’s a nice old Inn with a lot of character and charm. Our King room was very small with a very small bathroom. The Dining room is excellent and the food was fantastic! If you’re looking for a place to disconnect and enjoy some quiet time; Granville is the place to go!
