Right next door is a great restaurant you could walk to. The property was a little hard to find but is right on RT 1 so traffic at times was heavy. The train does run right across the street so you do hear it when it comes by. About 4 miles away is a Winn-Dixie and about 10 miles in Palm Bay was a lot of shopping. The three level floors and how they are split is perfect for everyone to have their space. The best room was the third floor, if you are not afraid of heights, the balcony on both sides of the house was heavenly. The hwy is 200’ from the house so you can hear traffic at night and the train goes through approximately 6 times each night. All in all a nice comfortable house. It was too cold for us to use the pool but it looked inviting in any case. The far upstairs is a good place for your smaller guests as the stairs are very small and steep like a ladder. This property was the perfect place for the rehearsal dinner we hosted for the wedding party. It was laid out perfect for entertaining. Our family played cornhole in the yard, we had drinks and dinner on the second floor deck and the kids had the perfect getaway in the birds nest! Pam was the best host you could ask for! Pam and her business partner Tom, the owner of The Old Fish House next door have to be commended for their hospitality. The convenience of having a seafood restaurant within walking distance was a plus that you could not get anywhere else. My family fished and enjoyed the dock and the yard was perfect for rehearsal. I can not stress enough about the terrific hospitality of Pam and Tom and we will definitely come back to the Grant House our next visit to Palm Bay. The house was great, view for sunrise was awesome, food next door is great, renting a pontoon boat for sunset is the way to go, big open space for meetings and relaxing was awesome. It is right off the main road so it is not secluded and extremely silent, but other than that one thing, if you don't want to stay right on the main ocean, this place is the bomb!!! ##### Brian C. Plenty of room for 6 adults and 4 small children to spread out. The dock worked well for our boat, the kids enjoyed the pool and we enjoyed the views from the 2nd floor deck. A lot of near by islands to explore. The 2nd and 3rd floor of the house is really nice. The first floor is not as nice but really clean and the pool was nice and cool in the middle of the summer heat due to the deck covering a good part of it from the sun for most of the day. The pool needs to be resurfaced and updated with some minor repairs to be done to it, however we look forward to renting it again in the near future. ##### Christina G. The views from this property are amazing, I only wish I could post photos. The sunrise from the deck is superb, and the water access can't be beat - there is a boat launch about a 1 minute drive in either direction.The property is clean, large yard, house is spacious but quirky. The large one bedroom “apartment” on the ground floor was perfect for our adult son and daughter. The main house portion has a master bedroom on the main floor, it is behind a curved wall, but it doesn’t have a real door. The loft is large with two additional beds a small bathroom with shower stall, but it is only accessible from the deck of the main floor. The stairs up are very narrow and steep, it was great for our teen daughter, but probably not for small kids.Having the restaurant next door was great, the food was delicious and plentiful, and the discount to renters was a plus. We enjoyed several trips over during our stay.Biggest downside was the train. The tracks are only about 300-400 yards from the front of the house (where the bedrooms are), it runs 24/7, both passenger and freight, and it does blow its horn as it passes, so you will hear it. Pam was great to deal with and quick to respond when we had a very minor housekeeping issue. All in all, we had a great experience at this property and would stay again if in the area. ##### Stephanie S.
