Location was great for our shopping trip, easy access to freeways. Parking was great. Staff was very polite, and everything was clean. Hot tub and water slide were permanently closed. They should be removed. Pool was very nice though. I understand the giant slide but really missed the hot tub. Overall, a very reasonable option at a better price point than many others in the immediate area.

The hot tub was broken. The hotel was largely run down. Missing wallpaper. The furniture in the room was old and peeling. The towels were so scratchy. Bathroom not clean.

Hot tub was out of service which is the only reason I chose to stay here. The side doors to access rooms from the back of the building did not work so I had to walk from the main entrance to the end of the building to get to my room every time. Bed was clean but floors were dirty.

Bianca was exceptional at the bar/restaurant. She was pleasant and helpful in other areas as well. Personally I felt like she was exceptional and the place needs more friendly smiling faces like hers. The disappointment came after the room was already booked and paid for. The pool area was cold, the hot tub was down, the slide was under maintenance and my 13 year old daughter was stuck in the elevator and after the fact again the guy at the front desk said oh yeah that’s been happening lately. The website basically ruined my grandson party because we were lured in under false pretenses. That info should have been available to the customers. Me and my family traveled here from Muskegon only to be put in a basic room with half the amenities listed on line. And to top it off the breakfast was good but very small portioned for the price. I am very disappointed and if it wasn’t for Bianca I would have left that hotel. Honestly I can’t say that I’ll ever return or even tell my union workers to ever lodge here. Management may need to speak with the workers on the frontline more to get a feel of what the customers want because last night there were a lot of upset families.

the waterslide and hot tub at the place has been out of service permanently and has been for over a year. Expedia knows this but refuses to take it off of the hotel's add. took the kids to Dave and Busters, rented 2 rooms one for us and one for them.. big let down with the hot tub and slide.

We stay here for the pool, the slide and the hot tub, as we do a family Christmas with grandkids. Upon arrival, we were told that the hot tub was out of service, didn't know when it would be fixed. After getting to our room, we saw netting on the slide. When we inquired, we were told that the slide was non operating. We ask why we didn't know this, she said that Expedia should have told us. We believe you need to tell Expedia for them to tell us. Another family there for a birthday party went through their own website and were no informed. We got at least three stories as to why it was non operational. There is heavy dust in doorways, by the door jambs. Poorly rigged door guides for the sliding bathroom doors, using pieces of tin and screws, sharp edges sticking out. Poor maintenance, poor customer care.

My husband I and stayed at this hotel 7 years ago and came back now with our family. The experience we had with the staff is amazing! Very kind, helpful and just such a great experience. However the lower mark comes from the fact that in house items for sale are really expensive and the water doesn’t heat up for a bit. Overall though a great experience and it comes down to the amazing staff that make it such a great one.

Best hotel I ever stayed in
I cannot say enough good things about our stay at the Delta Hotel. We were there for my father's funeral. Was originally at another hotel which turned into a nightmare. Moved to Delta and every employee we encountered was personable, professional and helpful. The hotel was very clean. Beds and pillows were very comfortable which is a rare find in a hotel.

Some of the fixtures have been updated, but the hallway carpets were gross. Same in the rooms. The thermostat read low battery and error. Thankfully, we were able to control the unit on the register itself. One bath towel for both of us. Breakfast was overpriced and convenience store style. We won't stay there again.
