New Listing! Nestled in the serene Sun Valley area of Grand Lake, this charming 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom cabin is the perfect retreat for families, groups, and outdoor lovers. With direct lake access, a private dock, two kayaks and a canoe available to guests, you’ll have the perfect spot to enjoy the best of lakeside living.  
  
Fishing enthusiasts, take note! The lake is private - only owners and renters are allowed to fish here (catch and release only). Whether you're casting a line from the dock or heading out in a kayak, you're in for a rewarding day on the water and maybe a bragging story or two.  
  
Step inside to find a beautifully updated space complete with brand new carpet, inviting furnishings, cozy décor, and a fully equipped kitchen, making it easy to settle in and feel right at home. The warm living area invites you to unwind after a day of adventure, while the large windows bring in plenty of natural light and stunning views.  
  
This cabin comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests with a king bed and two twin-over-queen bunk beds in the primary bedroom, and a queen bed in the second bedroom, offering plenty of space for everyone. The kids will be sure to enjoy a PlayStation with classic games available as well. Don't forget your furry companion!  
  
During the summer months, Sun Valley is a haven for moose! Enjoy waking up to the fresh mountain air, sip your morning coffee on the deck, and spend your days exploring Grand Lake, Rocky Mountain National Park (under a 5-minute drive from the home), and nearby hiking trails.   
\*Winter offers snowmobile access right from the home directly to miles of snowmobile trails! \*No need to trailer in\*!  
  
\* This home is located in the fire zone from the East Troublesome Fire in 2020, which took most of the homes in Sun Valley. The area is rebuilding, but large portions of our trees are sadly gone. The spirit of Grand Lake is strong, and the recovery process is well under way! The vegetation is returning, and we continue to recover and tell our story of surviving the 2nd largest wildfire in US history\*  
  
\* Due to the rebuilding and restoration process, some construction noise could be possible.

\- This home is Non-Smoking

\*Important Notes:  
\- This home offers 2 kayaks and 1 canoe for guest use!  
\- No power craft (electric or gas) of any kind are allowed on Sun Valley Lake.   
\- \*\*Because of the remote mountain location and proximity to the wilderness, there is higher iron content in   
 the water, which can leave an orange residue. It is safe but not everyone is accustomed to it. We do recommend purchasing bottled water for your visit.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved our stay!! Great location away from the busy part of Grand Lake. The lake is beautiful and just steps away from the cabin. The kayaks were an added perk. Lots of wildlife in the area. The cabin itself was a perfect size for our stay, very clean and had everything we needed. Will definitely stay here again.

#### Perfect romantic or family getaway

This cabin was perfect for us and the rental company made everything simple. Lots of space for family to sleep if you need it. You could comfortably sleep 8-10, but the common areas might get a tight with more than 5\. We utilized eveeything this cabin had to offer. From fishing the private CATCH AND RELEASE lake, kayaking, grilling nightly, camp fires, to just relaxing with a show and watching the scenery. We did have a bull moose visit the property in the afternoon. Walked right by the deck and out into the water for an amazing view. We will be back!
