It is centrally located and very close to the snowmobile and ATV trail entrances. This home also features an eight-person hot tub, outdoor entertainment areas with gas firepit and grill, game room with foosball table and ping pong table, and a super fun built-in bunk room for all the kids with a hidden entrance! There is plenty of room to play and store all your gear in this large 4 bedroom 3 bathroom house with 2 car garage. The inside is gorgeously designed and professionally decorated with all brand-new furnishings, a gourmet kitchen, upgraded finishes, smart appliances, and beautiful master bath. It has a large deck off the main entertainment room and off the master suite. There are 4 bedrooms and two living areas with a sleeper sofa which can sleep a total of 15 people. This home is SMART Home enabled with smart blinds, TVs, door locks, appliances, and thermostat. Use the Google Home to control these features with your voice (we’ve provided simple commands for you to try out during your stay including some fun ones to help entertain the kids). This the perfect base camp for all your activities in and around Grand Lake. And if you end up spending more time at the cabin instead, there are a lot of options to keep you and your family entertained between activities. NEW FEATURE! We just added a hidden door. This door makes the access to the bunk room secret. Parents can challenge their kids to find their room. Behind the bookshelf is the entrance to the bunk room and the basement bathroom. Please be gentle though. To open, pull the shelf near the bottom third (items don’t unhinge it, just pull). Items on the shelves are secured by velcro but could come off if it isn’t handled with care. It’s best to leave the door open once found, to prevent damage. Close to the lake for pontoon rentals and the city of Grand Lake for restaurants and shopping. We had one problem with the bedding in one room not being clean, but the owner was very responsive. We had 5 kids under 8 and it was great for them too. All of the beds were comfortable and there were plenty of pillows and blankets to go around. I will say one negative that totally wasn’t the owner’s fault - we regret going to Grand Lake at this time of the year. The aspens had just finished their show and basically everything in town (and surrounding towns) was closed for the season. Although there wasn’t enough snow to ride to the trails it was quick and easy to trailer. The house is absolutely stunning and well cared for. Well stocked kitchen and top of the line appliances kept us in each night cooking for the group. I was quite pleased to see the community has a zero tolerance for noise or any other obnoxious behavior listed right on the rules of the house. Nothing worse than loud neighbors. However, there are 2 things I would have loved to know prior to booking as they would have definitely changed my booking choice. First, the extra guest fee which was a surprise to me as I had not encountered this in my prior experiences. There is an additional fee of $50 per guest per day! This hidden fee increased my stay by $1000\. As a previous guest mentioned, it seems unreasonable to pay this much more when you are still well under capacity. The second item is that the security cameras installed around the home are definitely used by the host to watch the guests. This was made clear to me the moment we walked in. This was a very uncomfortable feeling for me personally. I also rent our home in CO and would never consider spying on clients/guests. ##### Maritza M. Plenty of dining space and living space indoors and out. We enjoyed the game tables and the sauna and seeing the stars at night. Not only did we enjoy drinking coffee on the patio in the morning, but we also loved the fire pit and hot tub each evening. The house was very well equipped and clean. The homeowners spared no expense designing this home to be a perfect getaway. From the basics to the Keurig coffee maker and Google speaker for music it was perfection! Best equipped kitchen ever! There was plenty of room for those of us who had to work a little while we were there. We enjoyed fooseball, shuffleboard, pingpong as well as the toys and games provided. The homeowners responded immediately when we had a question and were very kind.
