The gorgeous Mt. Baldy is framed by every window in this spectacular home. If you want breathtaking views this is the place to come. Very close to RMNP for killer snowmobiling and just a 20 minute drive to Granby Ranch Ski Resort and about 45 minutes to Winter Park. Close to epic tubing in Fraser. This beautiful home is situated just over 1/2 mile from the town of Grand Lake. This is an easy walk to town along the well maintained and flat dirt road right in front of the house. This home has its own private dock that can easily accommodate any toy you wish to bring. Outdoor firepit just off the water allows you to visit and roast marshmallows as the sun sets over the lake. It wouldn't be surprising to see some amazing wildlife right outside your door. This luxury villa is built of the finest materials and every room and window highlights the amazing views. A large deck area gives you ample outdoor space to relax and enjoy time as a family and soak up that pure mountain air. The sunken hot tub is professionally cleaned and could not be more perfectly placed. Soak lakeside under a million stars after a hard day of hiking, biking, skiing, snowmobiling, fishing, horseback riding, or exploring the town. The gas grill also found on the deck provides the ability to grill even in the coldest of mountain temperatures. Every detail has been thought of in this high-end mountain villa. The gourmet kitchen has everything you could possibly need to create meals to remember. This kitchen boasts two built-in dishwashers, two built-in refrigerators, double ovens, and a five-burner stovetop. The granite countertops and custom cabinetry only enhance the ambiance. We have tried hard to think of everything you could possibly need to create your family's favorite meal. This kitchen will have space for everyone, with the bartop seating 4, the dining table seating 8, and additional seating out on the deck. In the summer months, there is an old picnic table right by the lake. Right off the kitchen is a huge great room with majestic ceilings and matching views. This area has a custom stone fireplace to cozy up next to on chilly nights. Huge seating area with 70' flat-screen TV to watch vintage movies, play games, or read a good book. The House sleeps up to 12 people, but best for only two couples if they are wanting their own private bedroom and bathroom. The third level master has a private deck with a stunning view, king size bed, romantic fireplace, large walk-in shower, and separate large soaking tub. There is an additional huge walk-in closet with a secret entrance to the loft which sleeps four on twin size bunk beds. The loft is sure to be a favorite for the kids. On the first floor, you have a 2nd master sweet with a King size bed and private 3/4 bath. A 3rd guest room has 4 built-in bunk beds and a separate full bathroom across the hall. There is a queen size pullout in the family room. An additional powder bath off the great room on the 2nd floor. A beautiful laundry room complete with a laundry shoot makes this home unforgettable. All of this is nestled just minutes away from Rocky Mountain National Park and the charming town of Grand Lake where life is often celebrated with parades, fireworks, holiday decorations, and a musical repertory theatre. A range of exceptional restaurants provides year-round dining from BBQ to creekside historical ambiance. Local shopkeepers are friendly, and the range of galleries/gift shops are always a fun way to spend an afternoon. Visit us for an exceptional holiday you will remember for a lifetime. We want this house to be the right fit for you and want to make sure that there is as much clarification as possible to insure that no one is disappointed. This is a 3 story property and we have had reports that the stairs are a bit steep. It is not the best fit for those who have difficulty climbing stairs and or needing wheel chair capacity. Additionally, you do have to go through the master bedroom to access the loft. Guests in the loft will have their own sink and tub but will need to share a toilet with those in the master bedroom. The location was absolutely perfect, just minutes from the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park and close to all the charm of Grand Lake. Our four boys had the best time paddle boarding right off the private dock, roasting marshmallows by the water, swimming, and relaxing at the beach nearby.The house was in a great spot, peaceful and scenic while still being convenient to town. We loved walking through the shops and grabbing ice cream after a day of adventure. There are so many trails in the area for all levels, and the views are breathtaking. It was the perfect place to unplug and reconnect as a family. Becca the property manager was outstanding! Her communication on the check-in process was great and overall she touched base with us periodically to make sure everything was good. The house itself was beautifully decorated with a first class touch. Kayaks and paddleboards were used daily and provided fun on the water. Located right on Shadow Mountain Lake gave us such breath taking views along with easy access to the lake. And having different kinds of wildlife around and near the property was amazing! When we walked in to the home the first time, all my (adult) children were in awe - and we have stayed in nice rental homes. The view right off of the lake is stunning, which can be enjoyed from multiple views inside, including the hot tub on the outside deck. The interior furniture has been updated with comfortable and attractive couches and chairs. The interior finishes are high end, but not so pretentious that you're walking on egg shells - rather, it's there to be appreciated and thoroughly enjoyed. The kitchen was outfitted with so many utensils, pots, pans, crockpots, even spices that we were lacking nothing when we fixed a large Christmas dinner. All that you would ever want to cook with and more is available. Heated floors in the downstairs entry were welcomed in the cold!Communication with Becca was wonderful and timely, and she had numerous helpful suggestions for local activities. This was a dream vacation come true. If you haven't been to Grand Lake, it's like a town you'd see in a Hallmark movie (in all the right ways!). It's quiet, serene, beautiful, accessible, with just enough food and shopping options to enjoy without being overwhelmed. Highly highly recommend! ##### Steven C. We have stayed in a number of Grand Lake rentals, and the experience with this property was incomparable. The location is spectacular, and the view of Mount Baldy over the lake never grew old. The children never had an idle moment, and took full advantage of the wonderful dock and lake access for paddle boarding and fishing. The host was extremely responsive, the property was well maintained and thoughtfully equipped/decorated, and the entire experience was positive. My husband and I treat ourselves to 1-3 VRBOs/year and have been blessed to work with, and occasionally meet, some fantastic owners. But Ryan and Becca take the cake; their communication is 2nd to none. Their home is one of the most beautiful on the lake and they truly cared about all the details. Even though there were some windy and rainy days, the house was stocked with puzzles and games that entertained both the young and old. The views are stunning, the fishing was awesome, and our week there was magical. We walked to the bridge every night and saw a gorgeous black bear, enjoyed the North Inlet and East Shore hikes where we we viewed, osprey, 2 moose, and marmots. Coming home to such an incredible house was topping on the cake. There is a master suite upstairs next to a loft with 2 bunk beds, and down stairs there is a master suite next to a room with 2 bunk beds and a pull out. Ideal for 2 large families. Having the common area separate from the sleeping areas gave everyone privacy. Do not hesitate to book this house. Pro-tip: if you like a firm mattress, choose the top story master, if you are a weirdo and like your mattress soft, choose the downstairs master. 10 stars!!!!! ##### Celeste H. I take my family on a mountain trip yearly and we always seek out a great vacation rental. But I must say this is truly one of the greatest. The house was warm and cozy, the views at sunrise breathtaking. The town& hiking trails were a comfortable bike ride away for my small kids and the fishing on the dock while cooking marshmallows by the lake will never be forgotten. Becca the owner was The best vacation home owner i have met in my years of experience.
