Place was very quaint easy to access beds were comfortable nice area downstairs to BBQ and boil shrimp. Down fall was not warned about the water that may rise all around the steps when windy. Did have issues with ants in kitchen and bathrooms from the time we first got there. While the location is not what perhaps many people would look for, it was ideal for our group of four, as we share a history of living or vacationing on Grand Isle that spahs more than 70 yearss. Unfortunately, the stay was marred and shortened by a non-working gas furnace, this being most unfortunate as the temperature was in the low 40s and the wind was blowing at 25 knots. There were also a few somewhat minor electrical issues, the principal of which was a cooktop that had non-working igniters. The local property rep quickly sent out electricians and plumbers, but a relatively quick and lasting solution did not result and we cut our planned 4-night stay to two nights, the latter of which saw the inside temperature drop during the night to 50 degrees F. Despite the issues we encoungeted, we would book again if we could be certain that everything is in reliable working order. ##### bill s.
