"The house and location were absolutely perfect. Accommodations were clean and beautiful. I would highly recommend this location to anyone staying in the Grand Haven area. My family and I look forward to staying again next year. Thanks so much!" Kurt K. On the middle floor, you will enter a spacious living room, open to the dining area, and a beautifully appointed kitchen where you will find a butcher block floating island and top-of-the-line appliances, including a Sub-Zero extra-wide refrigerator, dual-heat Viking oven, convection oven, and vented hood. All of this with a view of Lake Michigan and Grand Haven State Beach! A sliding glass door provides access to a balcony where you can enjoy people-watching and lake views. Two bedrooms, one with a full bed and one with a queen bed, and a full bath with a walk-in shower complete the second floor. The third floor has twin bunk beds as well as access to a private rooftop deck where you are sure to take in a beautiful sunset or two. The lower level provides an additional half bath and laundry area. There isn't a more convenient location when it comes to being close to downtown and the beach. Directly across the street is Grand Haven State Beach, with access to the lighthouse and pier. A sidewalk directly in front of the home will take you on a short 1.5-mile walk to restaurants and shopping. PARKING The right side of the driveway in front of the garage allows for two vehicles. Garage parking is not available. SLEEPING This home sleeps 6\. All bed linens and bath linens are provided. THE LOCATION Located in the heart of Grand Haven, enjoy the quietness of not being right downtown while still being only a short walk to the downtown area. Enjoy the obvious: Grand Haven State Beach is directly across the street without having to fight for parking. You can also take a walk to downtown, close to the boardwalk, shopping, and restaurants. The location and views were fantastic, the host/owner was very sweet, parking was easy and the rental was nice and clean. The kitchen was awesome - not that we cooked much, too many fun places to eat down town :) The only draw back, (and I mention this only to help future renters) is the furniture is very uncomfortable, it's not at all what we were expecting considering the exterior being so modern. 100% we would rent this spot again but next time we will be bringing some cushions with us for the furniture on the deck and maybe a floor pouf or two :) ##### Christine E. Unit has a brand new kitchen with high end appliances and two balconies both overlooking Lake Michigan. The public beach is steps from the front door and the shops and restaurants in town are a 15/20 minute walk along the water. You are renting one unit of a duplex and the owners live in the other unit and are great hosts. I was concerned by other reviews warning that the air conditioning, which works extremely well on the main floor, does not reach the bunk beds in the loft…that was true during the day when the sun was at its brightest, but was not a problem at all at night when my kids were going to sleep. The room cooled off both nights. There was a fan in the loft but they never needed to turn it on. ##### Jeanne W. We were able to walk across the street to the beach and were 1 mile from downtown. So you could walk the boardwalk to the shops or it was a quick drive to the restaurants. The owner lives on site and was super friendly. The upstairs isn’t air-conditioned. It didn’t bother us since it got cooler for us at night but just so renters are aware. We loved everything about this property! The condo was beautifully done with lots of space for my husband and I and our 4 kids. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with lots of refrigerator space, a beautiful stove and dishwasher. Our favorite feature was the front deck right off the kitchen where you can enjoy the view of the beach, sunset and do lots of people watching. Although we didn't get a chance to use it, there is also a nice gas grill on the deck. There is an even larger deck off the third floor loft where the bunk beds are located which worked great when we had our family over to watch the sunset. The condo also has a large garage where we were able to safely keep our bikes and sandy beach gear in when we weren't using them. The half bath is located on the entry level floor along with the washer and dryer which was great to have for keeping our beach towels clean and dry (make sure you bring your own). I would say that the only drawback was that the third floor does not cool very well at all. The week we stayed was in the high 90"s and even though we kept all the blinds shut during the day and the rest of the condo very cold we could not get the third floor cool enough for sleeping. However, even with this one issue we can not wait to go back!! ##### Jennifer W. The location is perfect with an even better view. The property felt brand new. Everything from the high end kitchen to the 2 balconies made the trip that much more enjoyable.
