Best Hotel in GC!

We absolutely love Grand Cayman and this property. The staff is outstanding. We've been for the last two years and plan to return next year. We met countless families that have stayed at the property for years, and we know why. Everything is clean, prices are reasonable compared to competitors (specifically the Ritz). Having Red Sail on the property is a big plus as well! Five stars for the Westin!

Staff was not friendly not accommodating at all I reserved two room aske for 1 hour more after check out time for just one room Not clean Had to ask for everything for our room Towels, Shampoo, conditions etc

Our staff tries to accommodate a late check-out when they can, but regrettably, there are times when they are unable. terrible room with very old bathroom difficult to manage the shower temperature Room 279 must be avoided view of conference room with noise for attendant morning to evening so difficult to rest in peace The overall quality of food is really bad

Another good stay at Westin in Grand Cayman

Pros: I like the compact nature of this hotel, not too big, beach is steps from your room, pool nice, rooms comfortable.
I have vacationed several times over the years to this hotel and have always come away feeling I have had a great trip. Staff is super friendly and Westin has been constantly making improvements. Hard to beat seven mile beach, water is crystal clear. A little on the busy side, made the mistake traveling on spring break, was here in February and was much less busy.

Pool area an lobby great renovation They didn't do anything with the rooms they look the same

management needs work, no loyalty

Pros: New construction was nice, new stores were nice. Food was def better
Cons: Front desk management, but if you need one there ask for Fay or haddi
Location: Great location, lots to do
Starwood's member at least 18 years, gold I believe. Make sure you know what benefits, amenities and your number because they are very hesitant to look you up.

Beach was fantastic, food good and staff very friendly and helpful! Rooms were ok, nothing fancy but clean. We walked down beach past most other hotels and Westin was by far best beach and pool.

Beach is great, service needs improvement

One of the best beach locations for a hotel. There were plenty of chairs and umbrellas even when you come down later in the day. The service on the beach is really great. We have stayed at lesser hotels and had much better service. The room was fine but just a place to stay. This was not a welcoming hotel and when we did have a problem we had to call 3 times and visit the front desk staff (that did not help us). We don't have crazy high expectations but we do expect good service especially at this price point. We were yelled at by a staff member and ignored by our waiter the first day. The checkout was the most painful checkout I've experience in a long time and I didn't have any complaints.

Wonderful staff / right on the ocean

Pros: Staff, beach, floatables in the ocean, beach bar.
Cons: Room accommodations. It smelled a bit of urine in our room. The sheets were crunchy/scratchy. Pillows were not very soft.
Location: Loved location. Enjoyed restaurants nearby, Yoshi Sushi and Sunshine Grill.
We had a wonderful experience at the Westin and enjoyed the beach, pool and floats in the water that were provided by the hotel. It was nice to have and abundance of beach chairs available and even during the busy days, the staff would always have another set of chairs to set up for you. Water was crystal clear. Concierge was helpful in providing us details for excursions including swimming with the stingrays, going to Rum Point and visiting the Crystal Caves. The hotel room was ok, but nothing to write home about. The sheets were a little crunchy, pillows not that comfortable and the room smelled a bit. It was livable, but I would have thought the beds would have been a bit more comfortable. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

Staff are unfriendly and unhelpful. Beach is great

Cons: staff are unhelpful and miserable for the most part. of course there is a couple of nice ones in the mix
Location: Great location on seven mile.
Staff were the worst part of this place. Pools all nice and new just needed better cleaning. Rooms are old and cleaning was very poor i heard that reno starts may 2017 so hopefully they get staff improvement to. Beaches are great at this part of seven mile especially when storms blow up lots of seaweed it was cleaner here. We also stayed a week at the Marriott and the thing they had was incredibly friendly helpful and caring staff.
