Située au cœur d'un quartier touristique et animé par des boutiques et des Bars de plages, l'appartement est entourée d'activités et de vie. Vie qui peut être très bruyante les Vendredi et Samedi soir, lors des soirées organisées par les Bars de plages avoisinants et qui peuvent se poursuivre jusqu'aux alentours de onze heures. L'appartement est situé au 2er étage de la Résidence Calypso, un petit immeuble de 2 étages et de trois appartements, dans la rue principale de Grand-Case, coté plage ... Un ascenseur desservant directement l’appartement est mis à votre disposition. Ce logement à la décoration contemporaine, dispose de 3 grandes chambres climatisées, d’une cuisine américaine, de 3 belles salles de bain et d’un vaste séjour/salon idéal pour un séjour en famille ou entre amis. Vous avez un accès direct à la plage au rez de chaussée. Idéalement situé au coeur de Grand-Case, vous bénéficiez de la proximité de restaurants réputés, boulangerie, superettes… Mais si vous souhaitez profiter de vacances calme et de détente nous avons aussi mis à disposition tous le nécessaire : Netflix, Canoë Kayak et Paddle fournis... Caractéristiques et équipement de votre logement : Il propose une grande capacité d’accueil : Jusqu’à 3 couchages Queens size. Vous aurez largement assez d’espace pour célébrer vos vacances avec sa surface générale de 150 m². Agencement de l’appartement : il compte 3 grandes chambres, avec salles d’eau et wc individuels, cuisine américaine équipée, salon TV, vaste séjour, terrasse. Climatisation dans toutes les pièces. My wife and I have stayed in Calypso once before so we knew what to expect. The location is excellent but on Friday Saturday and Sunday it can be loud until 23hrs. The agent in charge of the property, Christophe, was very helpful, meeting us on time at the apartment and showing us all the details of the property, and offering to help us with information about the island in any way he could. In terms of the apartment itself, this is a beautiful, modern, 3-bedroom, 3 bathroom apartment right on the beach in Grand Case. It occupies the top two levels of a 3 unit building, which gives you some nice privacy as well as great views of the beach, the bay, Creole Rock, and the island of Anguilla in the distance. We made great use of the kitchen, and especially the balcony that is accessible from the living room and directly from two of the bedrooms. The apartment was clean and very modern. Wifi worked great, and the kitchen amenities were all we could need for our stay. There’s a small parking garage in the basement, which was super convenient (parking in Grand Case can be difficult), with a lift that takes you directly into the apartment itself. Very nice. Follow their advice, though, to rent a small SUV, because your car will need some ground clearance to get down the steep hill into the garage. In terms of location, the apartment is right in the heart of things in Grand Case—an easy walk to all of the (many very good) nearby restaurants and clubs. As mentioned, it’s right on the beach, and there are several nearby businesses that offer watersports (kayaking, canoeing, snorkeling/scuba excursions to nearby Creole Rock, etc.). The building sits between two restaurants, which is very convenient in some respects (food from both was good, and you can order right on the beach) but just a warning some nights there may be live music or DJs and it can stay loud pretty late, one night well past midnight. All in all we really enjoyed our stay here, and would recommend the property. ##### Daniel M. The 3 beds, 3 full baths, was perfect for our family, as we each had separate space! Bedrooms are spacious and in separate locations of the house.- Breakfast was included with the stay (at restaurant next door). The food here is absolutely delicious, with good size portions, friendly staff, and a great atmosphere.- You can’t beat the location of this property, with easy access to many of the popular restaurants and local business - minutes away (by foot) from the pier and the LoLo’s.Finally, Christophe & Luna were responsive and extremely efficient with details regarding our stay. They were the best!Items for Consideration: - This property is next to the Rainbow Cafe - and while the food here is amazing (especially the brioche French toast), they do play music on the weekends! There were some leaks in the ceiling, power outages, and elevator issues. After many attempts to get some assistance from the property manager without any success, we contacted the VRBO customer support line and were met with compassion, understanding, and results. This firmly solidifies our loyalty to your company and look forward to using your services for future holidays. The beachfront location, free use beach chairs/umbrellas, included breakfast at Frenchy’s next door and short walk to all of Grd Case’s great restaurants really made this an amazing stay. The view was awesome worth every penny. There was everything you could need in the place, plenty of kitchen supplies, great air conditioning and comfortable beds. The location is busy and bustling with great bars, restaurants and lots of shopping. The music is loud for sure on Saturday and Sunday nights but we knew that going in. It didn’t both is too much. The breakfast at Captain Frenchys was also great every morning and they have awesome staff. The beach chairs being included were super nice to have. Only downside is hiw loud the music played from a place behind the pizza restaurant until after 2:00 AM on Tuesday, Wednesday and approximately 3:30 AM. Friday evening. We were able to get a good sleep on Thursday as they were closed. We were aware that Rainbow Cafe and Frenchys would be loud but they were not a problem at all. Christophe was very communicative and we had everything we needed. It is definitely loud at night - one night The Rainbow Cafe had music going until 2:30a - so I’d suggest bringing earplugs. We are repeat customers and would recommend this place to anyone. The property is located on one of the best beaches in St. Martin, within walking distance to many restaurants in Grand Case and couldn't be more convenient. This VBRO property is just perfect. From the second you walk in the breathtaking views are unforgettable. The villa was clean and efficient, kitchen fully stocked, microwave, coffee maker, stove and washer/dryer. There are beach towels and even body wash, hand soap and all the basics you will need. The hosts are very accommodating and I can't say enough about what an incredible stay we had. It is nosy at night till about midnight, Grand Case does not go to bed early...but neither do we! Great music, shopping, food and easily walkable everywhere. I would definitely recommend this property, there were 7 of us and it worked perfectly. So comfortable, walking distance to shops, stores, pharmacy and top restaurants. The house is in between two very lively bars so if you want peace and tranquility, this is not the place for you. We won’t stay anywhere else, this is officially our place, we do hope the owner will get a softer mattress before we come next time lol! Kids slept like angels though. Thank you for everything. Really enjoyed our stay. The location is fantastic. Walking distance to the wonderful restaurants of Grand Case. The terraces and views are outstanding and the apartment itself was really well laid out. The upstairs bedroom is pretty much a separate apartment with its own living room. Free breakfast and chair rentals at Captain Frenchy really worked out! Great beach bar! The beach itself was fun (lively and great people watching) and the swimming was wonderful. The music from Rainbow Cafe is there during the day (definitely NOT quiet) but it is quiet after about 11:30pm. I came here with 2 of my friends for a girl’s trip and we were all astounded by this amazing property! Beautiful beach views, easy access to many restaurants and bars, breakfast at Frenchies, and tasteful beach decor are all selling features of this terrace! The property was very clean, we were greeted at the door to receive the key and shown around the property, and check-out was a breeze (minus the fact we didn’t want to leave).
