Great location! Walking distance to the rim and other lodges/restaurants. Food court is pretty good and has lots of options. Shuttle stop right in front. Plenty of parking. We stayed in the South section which is new, clean and comfortable! Would stay here again if coming to the Grand Canyon!

While the rooms are dated the whole point is a stay inside the Grand Canyon. Unfortunately they were understaffed and we had to wait until 6pm to check in. The main reason we wanted to stay here is so that when my daughters got tired they could nap and then we could go back out and see more of the canyon. By the time we were able to get to the room everyone was overtired and we were not able to go back out.

Liked the convenience to the canyon. Bed was comfortable. Liked the view of the pines. Carpet was filthy--socks got very dirty. Unit not remodeled so dated. Came back around 2 to get a quick nap and room wasn't clean so skipped that. Restaurant was quick and descent for breakfast.

Check in was between 3-5pm. Asked for extra blankets and was told there was a “scarcity” of blankets. Did not understand how a hotel has a shortage of blankets. That said, our room was beautiful and so quiet. Saw deer outside our patio. Walkable to free shuttles that go everywhere in GC village and numerous trails.

The Maswik is a great place to stay. However, after paying top dollar for two rooms and bringing family, it was a rude surprise to have a barking dog next door to them. Embarrassing for us.

We stayed in a room with a kitchen on the second floor with a balcony. The shuttle bus was right out in front of the lodge which was super convenient. Plenty of parking was available and their was gluten free pizza at the food court.

This is a basic but lovely lodge just 5 minute’s walk from the South Rim of the Grand Canyon and includes a lovely balcony overlooking pine trees.

Very nice facility with a very nice staff and excellent food. There was some work being done that, while not convenient, certainly will add value and enjoyment to the lodge. Will definitely stay there again.

I loved my time at the Maswik Lodge. The room was wonderful, very clean. The shower was fantastic. The beds were comfortable. I LOVED having a patio off of the room. It was wonderful to sit out there at night and watch the stars and in the morning in the sunshine as I drank my coffee. The only downside was some of the staff were rude and not helpful. They seemed annoyed if I asked a question. This included people at the front desk, in the gift shop, and especially in the food court. They honestly seemed miserable. Luckily I didn't have to interact with them too much.

We had a cozy decent sized room. The staff at the desk was nice and the food court had multiple options. The lodge was near the shuttle station so getting around in the park was pretty easy. One minor point is the lack of microwave oven in the rooms and even in the common area.

This was a very pleasant stay, and so close to the Canyon South Rim! There are many close eating and shopping (a general store is nearby) plus shuttles to scenic and shopping/eating areas, though most things are fairly walkable. The room was clean and stocked and the staff were very helpful and kind. The mattress is very firm-so be aware. Also no microwave in the room-the only major complaint I have though it is probably to drive food sales. I would stay here again!

The property was clean, quiet and room was spacious. Balcony looked great but didn’t get to use it, as it was too chilly to sit outside and enjoy morning coffee or evening cocktails. Would have been nice to have a microwave in the room.
