We were on a 30 day road trip around the country and this was our last hotel and first Econo Lodge of the trip. We hadn't really had any problems until this stay where we found bedbugs in one of the beds. A few full size bugs but quite a few small ones. I went to the front desk and talked to the manager Ricky who told me that he had never had any bedbugs before and he didn't have any other rooms available to move us to. I quickly checked and every other hotel in the area was full. So because we only found them on one bed, I moved my mom to that bed and slept in a chair for the night. Ricky also told me that if there was even one bedbug, he would refund my stay in full, which to this day he still hasn't. I showed him pictures the next morning and he said he had contacted an exterminator and would again refund my stay. I understand that things happen but when you promise to take care of an issue, take care of it. We had to take the time once we got home to sterilize all our luggage to be sure we didn't bring any of the bugs home with us.
