"Hébergement bien équipé ( piscine ), en bordure du canal du Midi et tout proche de Castelnaudary, une ville où vous trouverez de nombreux commerces de qualité et de multiples servces.Il y a aussi une station sncf pour acceder facilement et rapidement à Toulouse, Carcassone , Narbonne...Les proprios sont présents mais discrets et serviables."

"We stayed at Le Grand Bassin Guesthouse for one night before picking up our Le Boat for a 10-day cruise east. I can say without hesitation that we had a perfect stay! We arrived on Castelnaudry by train, and then walked to the guesthouse, so of course we were behind schedule. Sophie waited patiently for us and, on our arrival, called Chez David in town to make sure we would get a table for dinner. Sophie is an exceptional host, and our room was clean and comfortable. We did not have breakfast at her place, so I can't speak to that. However, I can only imagine that it would be excellent, given the rest of our experience. My wife and I have travelled all over Europe, and Le Grand Bassin is a beautiful property at a great price. Please do not hesitate to give it a try the next time you visit Castelnaudry."
