Great property & perfect location

We loved it here, the resort has everything you need. Two minutes to the ski slopes and conveniently located to groceries etc. Beautiful surroundings, dog friendly and no crowds. Everyone is friendly & helpful, we’ll come back again soon.

Location is dated but we always enjoy our stays here.

We always enjoy our stay. Location needs some updating though. Especially the hot tubs.

Ok for price

The condos are managed by the hotel. I pointed out to the owner that we were missing blankets for one of the beds and the ceiling fan was dirty and he apparently called the desk immediately! Thank you. However the lady at the desk said “oh yeah, we haven’t deep cleaned that unit yet”. They probably need to do that before someone stays. Also one of the hot tubs was under repair. I’ve stayed here before in another unit and it just seemed that it under different management who don’t care as much. Not the owners fault at all. Owner was very responsive!

The checkin was easy and owners instructions were very helpful. Property was a little dated and I was disappointed that the bathrooms tub jets didn’t work and that the hot tub wasn’t close to unit (too far to walk). But the unit was roomy and the beds were comfortable. Would have liked more than 1 bath towel per person for 4 night stay. Called desk who said owner would be charged for more towels so we made do.

Simple comforts

We loved the ample sleeping spaces. We hadn't quite understood that the two places were linked by shared door, so at first we thought we'd ended up with a single room! But then it was awesome to have the extra room for a quieter space. Perfect location for a golfing buddies getaway!

Loved it!

This is a great place to stay. You are right between Winter Park and Grand Lake. If you have kids this location is perfect as well. They have an arcade, heated pool and 4 hot tubs. The room was fantastic. It was clean and all the dishes we needed, and plenty of beds. Check in and out was super easy. I will stay here next time we are in the area for sure!

Not as advertised

Definitely not recently renovated. Seems like it hasn’t been updated since the 70’s. Wasn’t very clean either... crumbs and dust on the shelves that the plates and cups were sitting on. Hair in the sink and worst of all, we found a piece of dog poop in the middle of the family room upon arrival.

Ski vacation 2020

We stayed on the top floor and the elevator was quite a distance from our room. The room was smaller than we are used to but serviced our needs nicely.

Granby Ranch has fallen on hard times and this property needs major TLC. Our unit was ok but overall building needs help.

Dated condo

Our particular unit at the “resort” was dated and needed updating. Rugs mattress and window treatmeants could use refreshing. The resort has also seen better days. The location with proximity to Rocky Mountain National Park, Grand Lake and Winter Park was a selling point for us. You do need a car. We booked over July 4th and therefore paid a premium. Our family members rented other units through the front desk that were in much better repair. Our son and wife were going to stay in the second bedroom a loft which was hot without privacy so they ended up renting another unit. Our other son stayed in the Murphy bed in the living room. It worked for the three of us but not the five of us. The kitchen left a lot to be desired.

Convenient and comfortable

Got the king bedroom with kitchen and loft. It was great for our group and our dogs were well welcomed. Lots of area to walk them and easy parking. The pictures on the website must be a few years old but all was just fine. Would stay here again.

A shuttle to base camp. Utilize the front desk for extra tp and trash bags, don't forget the coffee filtets :)

Nice Property close to Rocky Mountain National Park

It was a nice property close to the Rocky Mountain National Park. Enjoyed the hot tub after a day of Hiking. The two rooms worked well for privacy of the family.
